i got news for you.. im 19 and i dont sit around a cry about not affording this or not affording that.. its called either afford it, or dont grow until you can afford it. no clue how long you have been growing but ive been growing since i was 16 almost 17 and i seriously doubt you know more then me... thats why you piss on your plants right?

I think the overwhelming response, "you should wait until you have the money to grow," is both basically accurate, and due to the general nature of the original post--a post seeking alternatives to pH down for the simple reason "i don't have the money for pH down."
You were given the easiest answer early on and responded that you had "heard bad things about vinegar." now, the only thing I know about vinegar that's "bad" is that it has a tendency to lose its efficacy over time when compared with the store bought hydro ph down. Now, most people are going to respond a little curtly to anyone who just puts up a thread of the fashion "i need you to tell me x" because its a bit demanding of the community.
Getting into a flamewar about this, is, sadly, an extremely juvenile response.
My take on the situation is thus: you clearly don't know as much about growing as you are asserting, since you don't know that citric acid and acetyl acid (vinegar) are the two most common recommendations for natural pH down. Not knowing AS MUCH as you assert you know is not, however, the same as knowing nothing. Feeling threatened by people on the forum is good reason why you might respond with those kinds of "i know more than you" or "i know more than you think i do" statements. self-defense, fairly understandable. The problem ,though ,is that this issue was solved early on in the thread. the naysayers, who make a good point about needing a capital reserve for the "just-in-case," emergency scenarios inevitable in growing, may seem dismissive. But, the ultimate point that IT SEEMS like you're trying to cobble together a ghetto grow rather than wait until you've got things in order, is one that appears accurate. Fir3dragon has a good point when he basically raises the "pics or it didn't happen" mantra: where's your setup?
if you're going to respond with the "I dont have a camera," or "i don't think its a good idea to photograph my jive," this is fine, but you must recognize that any discomfort you feel is your own, and you will have to tolerate deniers the best you can. In all, it would seem as though this is an unnecessary fight that you'd have done well to avoid.

A) human shit is not, to my knowledge, approved for composting purposes, nor is it used as a direct fertilizer commercially. (B) fertilizer is not one category. Chemical fertilizers do not originate from animal waste product, as this would be cost-prohibitive.
this answer is extremely approximate and will be effected by temperature among other things. there most certainly is an equation, or formula, that can easily tell you this; I'm glad you seem to have found it. however, you should be aware that minor variations can cause massive pH swings. I'm sure you can afford the litmus papers--or can go to a local highschool chemistry teacher and beg him/her for some. I'd recommend at least getting those.
