My babies are growing slow and curling

I started out with 5 Aurora Indica seeds I got online. Only four remain and today is exactly two weeks from seeds. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? I have them under 24 hours 26w 6500k CFL's, 8 of them. Also have a Co2 bottle, and water twice a day or when the soil looks dry. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! No nuts yet, just straight water. One of them is really small

way to much water, that is the problem..stop watering them, pinch some holes in the dirt with a pencil or something thinner, maybe point a vent on the pot so the water evaporates faster.

You should water every 3 days or so and not that much water, somebody said he uses a syringe, a small plant like that only drinks few ml of water.

They should recover if you stop the ”water twice a day” insanity but keep in mind the fact that over-watering slows down the grow process, you should look at one week and maybe more stagnation period.

Death by water bro.

Don't listen to anybody's advice on schedule or frequency. Every grow room and plant's need is different. Lighting, fans, intake temps, canopy temps, soil medium, age of plant, and many other things factor in to water consumption.

When I was learning how to water this is how I did it.

Grab a pot about the same size and fill it with soil. Now lift it up, that's your dry weight. Try to remember how it feels when you lift it up.

Now pour some water into it slowly until you see water coming out the bottom. Lift up the pot. That's your wet weight.

Only water your plants when you lift them and they feel like your dry weight or your see the leaves drooping down. After about two or three weeks of watering this way you will get a feel for when it's time to water.

If in doubt, don't water. It's about time to start feeding them, but I would wait until the soil drys out a bit. Maybe in a couple days after you fix this issue and the plants respond positively.

Good luck. :leaf:

I wanna thank you all for your replies.. I will back off the watering a bit and see what happens, and in about a week transplant to bigger pots with nutrient rich soil... Hydrosoil78 the Co2 bottle I'm referring to is a mixture of water, sugar, and active yeast... I will post more pics in about a week or so to let you guys know how things turn out... Thanks again!

"Like" ^

Also, check your soil PH, looks like it could be a combo of too much water and maybe a little PH fluctuation.

And yea don't water with club soda if that is what you were saying... Co2 is not for roots, only leaves, roots need oxygen.

Maybe don't water them tomorrow or the next day, or the next day.

Looks like the pics should be added to a FAQ about over-watering. Best of luck to you. They still have time to recover.
