Are my seeds done...?

I recently planted some seeds that I germinated but ran into some trouble while I had no time to fix it. The first day I planted them they were placed under 2 400 MH lights and left for 24 hours. The lights and a fan are all coming from one power outlet; so the next morning the lights were off and a fuse went off... I had no time to fix the problem so I unplugged the fan till I could fix the problem, but still the fan wasn't enough and another 12 hours have passed with them under no light:cry: I now have time to run power from a second outlet but my question is, is there any point since they've been in darkness under soil for this long? Also, I do believe I have planted some of them too deep into the soil, Im really pissed off these seeds were fukin expensive and I hope they aren't gone. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

(btw how many watts can one outlet handle?)

Really? To be honest I did think they use light as reference, good to know though, thanks! But really, exactly how much is TOO deep?

Ok hmm its been about 36 hours and they nothings popped out of ANY of the pots...should I uncover a little soil off them or just let it be a little longer

Thanks Doobie Doo, I am measuring the pH level frequently. I just hope I didn't plant these fukers too deep but on the other hand I don't want to fiddle with them. I guess I'll just wait and see...

Well I got curious and carefully dug up a couple, I saw something very thin and green in one and will probably surface by tomm and checked another one and its tagroot is just very long so I guess its coming along to...I guess patience is just a virtue..

relax. leave them alone. your gonna hurt them. stop digging. what good are you doing? weren't those seeds expensive? just let them grow.

depends on the size of the circuit, if it is 15 amp then

15 amps X 120 volts= 1800 watts, but you don't want to be running at the max all the time keep it at 70% or 1260 watts, If it's a 20 amp circuit then

20 amps X 120 volts= 2400 watts , keep it at 70% so, 2400 X 0.7= 1680 watts

Also always check for other appliances that are on the same circuit as your grow.I like to run myself atleast one dedicated circuit for my grow room at 20 amps so I have plenty to work with and don't have to worry about other appliances loading down my circuit which can make lights run inefficiently.....:blsmoke:

My main concern now although I fixed the load problem, is that the extension cords are something like 50 ft long each. Not very efficient, but I have to settle for now. Soon Im going to run a dedicated circuit at 15 amps for the light I just have to read a little so I don't blow anything up...

This is a very.. must have patience hobby...you will have many more of these (wondering if times) in the days to come....read and follow what others are doing and you should be fine...
