Can I squeeze in another ?

Simple question, in a 2x2 tent with a 400w solar storm led, how many plants should I be rocking in there? I got 4 in there, and doing well. I have a blue dream seed that is begging to join the crew. I am going to lst it all to keep them short and will be flipping to 12/12 earlier then normal. Don't really care about yields, more interested in expanding my pallet and trying a few strains.

Also my humidity is 18%, I know its low, but as long as I stay on top of my watering is low humidity ok? Thanks guys! Enjoy the weekend and the big game!

ps. Using 1gal air pots!

Optimal Light 400 w....
in a 2' x 2' space or is that 2 meter x 2 meter?
So, most would say 4 is enough... in a 2'x2' space I would agree...
However... WTF why not cram as many as will fit...
And keep them small...
I don't see why not... grow 10 plants after a 4 week veg... in that space...
So squeeze if you want to... I am reading between the lines, and you really want to....
So... WTF do it...

Where's Mr Hyde when you need him?

Not an expert on LED or CLW's lights or anything, so can't help you with footprint questions, but there is an LED sub-forum in the indoor section area.

humidity effects transpiration...the petioles will close more to retain moisture, slowing growth as this slows CO2-O2 exchange; won't kill 'em, no, but you'll notice slightly slower, less vigorous, growth. and this will naturally translate to non-optimum yields (which you don't really care about), but non-optimum ≠ zero bud/shitty bud/etc. I'd try to hang some wet towels up at least, or place a large shallow dish with water in it on the floor so it can evaporate (like the lake effect at a vineyard) in the fan breeze and up your humidity a bit. OR, i guess you could buy a humidifier ≈20bucks at walmart.

I don't LST but from my experience when I try to grow too many plants in the space I have, they all suffer. I came to the conclusion I'd rather have a few great plants than a bunch of shitty ones. It's tempting to squeeze another one in but I try to refrain. I get my best yields when each girl has room to expand.

No, stay with 4 as your room is too limited
Dr. Jekyll

No sense in just adding one as five is an odd number and we all know how unlucky that is
Maybe double or triple up, as a dozen little gaffers would be nice.

Thank you Mr Hyde...

And... That was like cosmic.... you did me, at the same time I did you....
I mean... you understand... got a little shiver up my spine...

The footprint of the led is 3'x3' (feet) So I think I have enough watt/light. My concern is space I guess? Ok I think sand was right, I am nervous to add another plant because what I am doing right now is working well, but I really want to do it. I bought a humidifier and am going to run it 2 hours twice a day and adjust from there. Optimum humidity is right around 30-45 right ? I will have to adjust my timer to get the humidity right !

Talk me into two more plants!!?!?!?! Okok maybe just the blue dream (and bubba og ) lol thanks guys

depending on genetics, veg range is 60-80%, and flower is 40-55; again, optimum ranges.

I'll aim for 40, as veg I'm not to worried about size, and flower I'm scared of mold lol!
i agree, lower end of the range for flower is worth the piece of mind for mold prevention. don't forget to keep it nice and low during the dry/cure phase--dark and cool is perfect for mold so low RH and constantly gently circulating air are great preemptive measures.

Lol if I don't remember I made flash cards of notes from all the reading I have done! I put them in sequential order, and just flip through. My next hurdle is nutes... I don't want to give them any ever! I have fox farms ready to go, but debating if I should only try two to see how the others react! Thanks!

haha right on brother, thats a great way to make sure you learn it (flash cards, i mean). As to nutes: if you're in fox farm's ocean forest blend, you should have plenty of nutes to take you through a 4 wk veg (check me on this, though, since i haven't used FFOF in about 8 months and soil is not one of those things that can be mechanically reproduced identically over the long term). you will most likely need some flowering nutes though.
take it slow and be patient with yourself, there is definitely a learning curve to each aspect of growing.
be easy,
