1. Impose term limits. Two and through for every elected position.
2. OUTLAW political parties at the federal level. Vote for the individual, not the fucked up sociopathic "party".
3. Mandate experience requirements for ALL cabinet positions. There's no g'damn reason to put somebody in a cabinet position when they don't know fuck all about the position. NSA, CIA, etc...
4. 10% tax rate MAX for all citizens.
5. Establish election protocols that guarantee equal time and exposure for ALL candidates.
6. Outlaw lobbying, and lobbyists.
7. Mandate that ALL federal laws are written in such a manner that they can be understood the average high school graduate.
8. Eliminate the ability to bypass POTUS war powers act by cutting ALL funding for undeclared combat operations after 90 days.
9. Reduce the federal government by 30%.
10. Outlaw use of federal funds for individual purposes, like welfare, medical, and all that other nanny shit. That's why we have STATES.
11. Restore the 4th amendment.

Shit...I could go on for days........

Those look like indians. Is that your stellar example of freedom? Indians regularly raided each other's settlements and took captives to use as SLAVES... LOL!!!! So much for freedom fighters...
I was just pointing out the irony of things and how point of view skews opinions. Indians like all people have their ass wipes and their good people.

i like what you've got but we need a little bit more focus on an educated electorate. i'd say raise the voting age to 25 until then...

I'd say raise the voting age to 100. Then the voters can decide who or what they like and when they say "depends", it could mean a number of things.

Revamp the tax code and eliminate a lot of burdensome regulations.
He didn't ask how we could drive the country further into economic turmoil. I was with you on revamp tax code but then eliminating "a lot" of regulation threw me off. Deregulation is partly what got us where we are today.

As fate would have it, you are right, and so is he.

Deregulation could mean a number of things.

For instance, Walmart. My dad owned a business, and every year for 30 years he paid the local, state and federal taxes.

A Walmart opened up about 10 miles down the road. They were exempt from local taxes and maybe state taxes for a number of years. That's bullshit.

One year dad decided to erect a sign. If you've ever looked into it, signs are fucking expensive. On top of all of that, the city charged him a hefty fee for having it. A couple miles down the road is a mcdonalds, their sign is even bigger and taller. Dad asked the city worker lady what they had to pay. They didn't have to pay the city the same fee.

I would say you could eliminate that special treatment for big businesses that only puts small business at a disadvantage.

And of course, some regulation is burdensome. Others are necessary.

I think the best phrase here is find out which is which, and eliminate the bad and keep the good.
