Couple of Questions before CFL grow

Hey everyone, in May i'll be starting an indoor grow and have a couple questions.
My set-up includes the following:
200W CFL 6400k (14k lumens)
200W CFL 2700k (14k lumens)
Winged reflector with socket for CFL
200CFM Inline Fan with diy carbon filter (currently using this in my room when I smoke and within 20-30mins, with window open, the smell is gone. So I assumed It's working well.




Questions:
1. Where would I put the exaust/carbon filter, should it be upwards/sideways? The inline fan directions do say that it is not meant to run upwards.
2. Which light should I use, what would be optimal? Should I use both at the same time? And get a crop every 10 weeks, or should I build seperate veg/flower and have a constant flow of plants being vegged/flowered?
3. For the carbon filter, I should make it so it pulls through the carbon filter, rather than push through it right? (meaning carbon filter HAS to be in the grow box)
4. Autoflower or Regular? I have a timer I could use for the lights, would it be better to go with a regular strain?
5. Water, how essential is PH, everywhere i look, ph meters are very expensive (is this essential?)
6. Nutes, which should I get, is it dependent on the type of grow? (indica vs. sativa)
7. Should I do Scrog method of growing?
8. What is a general average from seed to smoke?
9. Assuming you had 1 seed, and that seed grew into a healthy plant, does that mean you can unlimitely clone it?
10. With cloning, does that just create a smaller plant that will flower at the SAME TIME as the seed plant (first plant)?

Good God that's a lot of questions that could be answered with about an hour of google searching!

1.Then sideways,mount it so it can exhaust out the top of your tent.There should already be holes if you buy a grow tent.
2.1000w hps is optimal.Use only one light for seedlings and smaller plants.Use both for flowering.
3. Yes pull exhaust through
4.Whatever floats your boat.....i say regular feminized seeds...that don't sound right...non auto feminized seeds
5.Ph is very important.If you can't get a ph meter use reverse osmosis water...at the least just let your tap water sit out to evaporate chloroquine
6.make your own decision on nutes...go organic!
7.read up..Scrog and sog are good for cfls and small spaces
8.Not sure what you mean...times,weights its all dependant
9.Pretty much for years...IF you have skills..and the right strain
10.A clone/cutting can be vegged and grown as large as you'd like

So follow the directions, and run it horizontal , top of tent, run out

Use all your light in one room... add many more as you can afford... YOU CAN NOT HAVE TOO MANY CFL's

No, it and fan can be mounted outside if it's better...

Photo period strain... find a Photo Period plant, with a very short Bud Time frame...
Autos... Never grown them... can't clone them... I clone all my good plants...

I checked the City water print out for my area... it looked OK...'
I have never PH'ed my water ever... I grow in soil... Soil does not, ever need to be PHed...
Soil... NO PH test... if you are on well water... check it once to see if you are in the range...
PH soil checking IMO, completely useless....

Find a nice 6-6-6///5-5-5///10-10-10 type food, and do not abuse your plants with high bloom food, completely undeeded...Use a Produst lake "Jack's" or similar off brand... is fine...
All plant food listed at 10-10-10 are equal, don't buy the hype...

7. Should I do Scrog method of growing?

not with Auto's Scrog or SOG are fun...

8. What is a general average from seed to smoke?

You are a newbie... it's all good...
I grow a 49 day photo period plant, and I clone it 6 times a week...
So I have a big plant turnover...
I veg some for 7 weeks, some for 8 and 10 weeks...
So plant from clone to finish bud 17 weeks...
Dry takes 1-3 weeks...
Cure takes 2-50 weeks... I cloned 6 plants yesterday... I will be smoking them in 20 weeks...

Yes, as I said... I clone clones, over and over... I clone my hearty fast growing clones... So the plants get better and faster growing all the time...

It is a clone.. It will be very similar... almost exact ... FIM/LST/ make it different...

Sorry for so many questions. Thanks to both of you. The reason I ask some questions that are already answered online is because I'd rather get the answer from someone with first hand experience than to trust an unknown source.

1. Won't I lose the ''suction power'' if I mount it sideways than attach a l-shaped duct to exaust out top? Also, I'll probably building a grow box, rather than buying a tent, because it seems that tents get very expensive once the watts are increased. (Unless that doesn't apply to CFL's low heat?)
3. Sorry that I can't visualize this, but how can it be mounted outside if the air needs to go through the carbon filter? Unless the classic design of the carbon filter changed:S
8. How do you veg them all for different times? Are your veg/flowering setups in different areas?

If duct opening had exhaust duct fan mounted to your tent opening pulling air out...
Then through your filter...
Search the DIY section...

Bud room.... Veg room.... Clones in my veg room...
Transplant out of both...

Yes I do... all the time, except I have two rooms...

Basically... Peeps that say there is "Clone Fade" do not understand...
I clone in soil, like a basic newbie... it is so very easy...
My plants yes, grow faster, bigger every month...
Once in a while... I mess up... Usually Transplant issue...

Ph meters CAN be expensive, if your in a grow shop that is... You can have a digital Chinese one shipped to your house with calibration packs etc $13.99 on ebay... PH is essential, if the PH is whack, your plants can literally just die, and you may not even have a yield.

PH is like like this...
Pretend you are a prisoner, and you are slid a food tray 3 times a day, yet you are handcuffed to something out of reach to the food. A whack PH is the handcuff slowly starving you to death, if your's is whack, your plants cannot eat the nutrients, and it will slowly starve to death.
