Ladies are doing well today. I'm really looking forward to changing my grow program. The soil I use presently is so fkn hot I get nervous even thinking about adding anything more than molasses. Tested runoff last night and pH is 6.7 and TDS meter shows 1200 on the run off. Not sure if that's good or not.

1200ppm is hot...I would use it, But id vegg then Rt before F Id transplant a mature plant in it.
I vegged a palnt one time for a month in a Waterfarm with just rain water,with no Deff.
Just changed the res water every 2 weeks.Now you guys are gearing me up on a HYDRO GROW!

I hung a piece of Mylar in my flower room! Ok maybe not Mylar but I found in my first aid kit a thermal blanket. Looks just like reflective film, lol. I used the rest on a wall in my new veg box. I painted the walls white with one side of film. It's almost mirror like so I may just go buy another one. I forgot to order some when I ordered my bulb so it'll have to do til I'll go back to hydro store in Maryland at the end of the month.
I hooked up my ozone fan thingy today. Things started getting stinky. It's basically a round floor air filter with an ozone on it. I then made an ozone board and placed it inside the unit. I then added a charcoal pad to filter out the bad stuff. I turned it on, smoked a bone and no one woulda known if they were standing 3' from me. So instead of treating the grow rooms themselves I'm treating the entire attic. It smells so fresh ad clean up there! Lol
i got my bulb lineup set for the veg box. I'll be using 3 6k ati bulbs, 1-15k ati coral plus,1 3k,and 1 ge 6k. I decided to go wih bulbs I use wit my Coral tanks because they aregrea bulbs. The Coral pls bulb is a 15k with red ad purple added

Here's some pics of my new veg box. I'll prolly change most of the bulbs. This is just what's in when I had it on my reef tank. A few more steps and I'm ready to get some new beans going.

Was a great combo and i had great growth and color. I'll probably use the coral plus, it's like an ab spec but also with purple. One of the best coral bulbs on the market IMO. Gonna use that with a few 3 and 6k bulbs.

Sounds like a solid plan. I just run all 65k in my t5 fixture when I use I for growing...But lately, I've just been starting seeds under an air cooled 400w MH.

i had thought about pulling my 400 out but I want to see what I can do with t5 for veg. Since I only grow for head, next months harvest will last me a good while so I'll have plenty of time to get some nice moms growing for clones.
