Help me with setup: Best website to buy a tent package.

Don't really want to mess with a chiller, I could use a smaller light until the leaves block the bucket... Or I could use an additive incase the water temp gets a little high so I don't get bacteria in rez.
 
led lights would be the best choice then for u

just with the HIDs u make alot of IR heat and the lightwaves hitting and aborbing into the bucket ..............depending on how foast yours gets roots and really growing it is about 4 to 5 week thing after that the shade from the leaves cover it enough that with the air pump in a cool zone and a good micro pore stone your basement grow will work out ............i am only telling u this to help save u the issuses i have hit

I wash thinking of led. Any good ones u can use for veg and flower ?? And do they give off any heat ?? Say room is 65 degrees with lights out, what will the temp be with the led on ??
 
i know of one......but if u are growing photos u need 2 of them .........the one i am getting is replacing the 600w i have in the tent

ok the 2 best led makers are BlackStar and Black Dog .........they are the best ones both do great plants and have good reps
the one i am using is from apollo ..they are new but they are trying hard to get a good rep so if any issuse should be easy to fix

this is what i know of LED lights
600w led is equalled in power and over all growth/yelid of a 1000w
led does work to gow plants
plants grown under led light tend to have a thicker leaf and naturally little deep green then hid

if u are growing photo plants u need the grow and flower light 2 lights (genetics dictate this for best yelids light wave and time period)
autos u can use the one light like apollo offers (they like both at the same time)

How big is your tent ?? And what is the temp difference with led lights on/off ??...................3x3 is a little small, Im going 4x4 or 5x5 and with say a 5x5 tent how many plants you grow and what method do you use??? I do dwc.... I now have the superlocker 2.0 and I would grade myself a A+ I have to scrog bc 175 watt wont penetrate canopy... I get 4oz's every 3 months basically.
 
do not know ...........the 40% thing i just sawl that today so i order it

i have 3 tents
tent 1 is 2 600w hids a mh and a hps ...........i run autos 4x4x6
tent 2 is 1 1000w i use for flowering the bigger ones 4x4x6
tent 3 is a 2 ft 8 bulb t5 i use for starting and curing/drying 3x3x6


the tent with the 2 600w runs about 10 15 hotter then my intake (some times i run co2 from mash buckets temp always goes up then) ............i have tent 1 and 2 spilt on a 400 cfm fan (both are powered intakes of 240cfms) the math for my tent is low i am replace the whole tent 2 times a min maybe 2 and 1/8

i get a half pound every 30 days running on 4 plant routine 2 flower 2 grow flower done the grow flips and i make a new set of grow ...............i keep 2 plants for exps my state i am allowed 6 plants
 
I thinking growing in DWC with 2 flowering plants under a 600w hps or the led equivilant I could get about 15-20ozs every 3 months.
 
depending on the strain u use and if u have the room yes

i made a DWC take up a whole 4x4x6 tent ............i just clipped her the first time the other set is getting 2 more weeks i will know the weight of it soon
that was a exp to prove something about the water intake impacting the denceness of the buds and turned into a can i keep it alive .........the damn thing go so big i chopped the main cola off it was hitting the roof of the tent moving the light

i been doing my best in soil 7 oz off one plant in 73 days from seed to smoke .............biodiesel mass from advance seed and i am only getting 1/3 of the power out if learning what it likes and improving every time i hope to be up to half pound off that (will see in 54 days )
 
With the 600hps or led equiv will I have to scrog Like I was doing in my very small closet or can I just say top 2 plants and maybe lollipop alittle... What would u do in that scenario ??
 
lollipop it with the scrog of course................. but only if u have accountd for watering and flushing if need be

the new tent u can buy the netting from a europe market (90cm X 90cm) is the 3x3 and (120 cm X 120cm) is the 4x4

if u do not want to mess with it then grow it natural and do some super cropping (pinch it in certin spots to make it make a knot and force more water up that branch) with a little topping in it for some nice main colas (this is all photo )
 
Wow wish I had this netting for my small locker.. The company I bought the locker from never sent me the custom made netting. So I kind of tied it down, closet bud got about 6 inches from my 250 hps so I turned it down to 175 hps.... They make these nets for all size tents??
 
The problem with the scrog in a 4x4 tent is its most likely for 1 plant I want 2 plants... I think I would just top it and grow it more naturally with 6 main stems... I guess it also depends on the vertical space too. How far do u keep a LED from the top of the plant ??????

they make it in like 3 sizes they are baiscally elestick cord with 4 hooks to get to the poles on the size
the one i linked u would work in the 3x3x6 tent i posted u the one size up would work in a 4x4 tent ...........now bigger sizes u could pair the neting up and make it span the 8x8


this is from the europe market .......they have a few things we do not have here

worst case i can show u a quick method of making your own screen .........just takes time and a few bucks for basic stuff wood string

the 4x4 tent u could run 4 plants with some thinking 3 plants with just little plan 2 plants with no trouble at all 1 plant a baby could do it

as for height i am unsure this will be my first led (will be here wensday to friday) as for Hid the monster plant i linked i had it with in 6 inchs of a 600w light the damaged parts from bleaching was alot less theni thought it was going to be based off those old distance watt and lumen power

i am thinking 8 inches will be good and safe with fairly deep light pen (according to what i looked into LED has the best pen power of all the lights out there they can get up to 3 feet in)
 
How far do u keep the led's from the top of the plant ??? I've read everything from 5" to 20" from the top of the plant ??
 
i am going to use 8 inchs

cfls are 2 and half
t5s are about 4 to 6 inchs
HID is 7 inches
led..............i think i could go to 4 or so but i will stick with 8 for 1 round and see the results )

yes .........this is the cuase of the leaves being a thicker leaf and a deeper green (3 feet is for the top of the line best ones the apollo i ordered i am think 2 and half 2 feet )

hids are 18 to 20 inchs that is a 1000w

it is something to do with how the light is formed and the way it spreads out as it travels LEDs are a much tighter wave ...........it is why u can not use a laser pointer at a air plane where u are it only cm wide where they are it can be 3 4 feet
 
Do the led's give off any heat ?? Say my room is at 65 degrees with lights off what will temp be with LED (600w hps equiv) lights on ??
