grow light problem!!! Solved?

Hi!

For months I was having a huge problem of deficiency with my plant! I was trying to save her, for a period of 3 months or so. Today I bought another light, (originally I have a 200 CFL for flowering- thought it was for VEG!!!)
and realized that the previous light was for flowering not VEG! So I was trying to grow my plant with only a flowering light. Now I have a dual spectrum 200 watt CFL. I think the grow store is at fault for selling me a light which they also thought was dual spectrum.

2 questions...

1= if you grow a plant with a flowering spectrum light, its normal that it grows slow and there are deficencies?

2- Who is at fault for the lamp? and should they give me a proper light to replace the light they sold me- not too mention the months of lost time and money spent on energy!?

2- .........not too mention the months of lost time and money spent on energy!? You the grower is to blame for not studying enough.... no plan no bud!
If you grow you vegging plant under a warm white, 2700 kelvin bulb it will grow tall and thin and lanky, like it is growing under a winter sun, the red light affects the vertical growth cells.

If you grow that same plant under a 6500 Kelvin bulb or cool white, the color of the sky in summer midday the light will stimulate the horizontal growth cells and grow horizontal.

This is why many horticultural / botany students are following the cfl grow scene so closely, watching young cannabis kiddies growing Mj under different colored cfls offers so many shapes of the plant that you just don't get in nature ..!

I'm thinking that the flowering light didnt offer enough heat, thereby allowing too much humidity in the root system, causing the deficiencies.... I just started using the growth light, and its growing marvelously well.

I conclude that there must be a connection here....

I guess you are all set...no need to study more.

really gotta keep an eye on that root humidity
