Uvb is harmful for buds. Please dont. ^. You want tighter harder bigger buds organically, look into potassium, kelp meal, molasses blah blah blah. Molasses will get your stuff sticky and smelling wonderful . But uva will produce more oils and studies show that uva will produce more potent buds.lighting is essential, for hid I recommend using a combo or red and blues. I like my hortilux bulbs because i know i can trust their efficiency. Stay green.

uv-b is beneficial. Over doing it can be harmful. You can run 3% -5% the whole time. More than that amount of uv-b , it should be ran only 5 hours a day.

all lemon does is get rid of powdery mildew. It might have some nutrient value too.

Somebody told me once that the Korean hookers used lemon juice on their twats for the same purpose. I can't really speak to the lemon juice thing but I can tell you the average Korean lady had a nice and tight snapper.

fisherman use lemon juice on their hands to get rid of the fish smell. That's probably why Korean hookers use lemon juice on their snatch.

Haha really really funny guys. Lemon is anti microbial also. Honey too. I use it with some foliar sprays to give off a pleasant smell rather than smelling need and garlic.

i run 5% Uv-b from day 1 flowering all the way until the end and i have to say its VERY beneficial as far as end potency goes....

But yea back on topic... lemon juice should only be used at a 1-2% solution (10ml/L) for powdery mildew as a topical spray OR as an organic PH down since lemon juice's acidity is at 2 on the PH scale..... the only way it can "tighten your buds" is if your PH is fucked and over 8....

i allways wondered if the lemon fish was in the shops or on the streets.... now i know lmfao

lemon vitamin ( C) OF ANY SORCE will help the buds to remain tight . vit c is in very costly nutrients . trace elements. if your temp is to hot vit c will help the plants deal with the shitty environment . it is proven to help with bud density , I would know my grow room was very hot last summer. 100f but lots and lots of co2 so I pumped the vit c hard. sticky dense buds. they should of been falling apart. no body could tell I was to cheap not turning on the ac that summer.

ascorbate Is esential for plant growth yes, but Limonene is Toxic to plants... it can even be toxic to humans in huge doses which is why it has cancer "fighting" agents, just like anything fighting cancer its partially toxic... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Limonene

And then theres this:

I spray liquefied toe nail clippings on my buds, the growth hormones in the nails increase yield by at least 20%. I should know, I use it in my grow all the time so I think that pretty much proves that.

Where do you guys get your UV-B bulbs from? I've been waiting on this to come back in stock: http://lightyourreptiles.com/22t5hofihouw2.html

I planned on running 2 of those on opposite sides of my tent, on a timer to run 15-20 minutes every few hours.

The UVB makes the plant produce more trichs as a 'sunscreen' reaction, is what I've read.
