Both the Chem and The ECSD will fill an entire building with stink. Charcoal filters are a necessity.

are you more of an indica fan or sativa fan dr gruber?
i wont crack a bean without a filter, ty though.
doob ive been lookin for people that have grown both bodhi and dr greenthumb strains so i can see how they compare. are there any strains from bodhi that could compete with the chem 4 for potency and yield combined? of course it still gotta taste good. i got some road kill unicorn that i plan on popping soon im curious how that would compare
im also curious to know which strains you've grown from both breeders?

Thats a good question.
A few years ago I would not have hesitated in saying Sativa was my favorite. But....I have found some of the indica's really help with pain issues, still have a somewhat social buzz, and I've been turning to them more.
However, the Trainwreck Im smoking right now seems to have great pain relief and a really energetic buzz and i believe its a pure sativa or at least a strong sativa dom.
So, let me rate them like this.......
Social Activities-Sativa or a special indica like Bubba.
Pain-Indica or good Sativa/indica hybrid.

lol, i'm pretty much the same way. if i want to go out and be social, or have stuff to do, i like sativas, but if i'm in the mood to chill out and watch tv or w/e, i ilke indicas... or if my back is killing me or w/e, it's indicas i reach for something more indica. bubba kush is a personal fave for me as well, although i've only grown cali con's, crappy yielder, but really good smoke and taste and smell for days..

yeah, it sucks living where i do for sure, especially in terms of the boards and getting to met people from here irl...
so far i've met one person from a site, and it went well enough that i'd be open to meeting others, lol.. i was always super nervous about meeting up with people from online, being the business we're in and all, which is why i've turned down more opportunities to meet people then i have taken them up on.. i guess it's better to be safe then sorry though..
oh yeah, after all that rambling, i forgot to say thanks for the compliments..

Same here...ive only met 2 people and have turned down many others. They are probably great people but i just get paranoid.

yeah, a few of us all had it planned out we were gonna meet up like 2 or more years ago now, and at the last moment i got a bad feeling and bailed.. dude was pissed but oh well.. about a month or so later i heard he got busted, and was so never glad i listened to my gut as i was that one time..
can't really say enough about trusting your gut instinct when it comes to things like this..
john what other reservoir strains have you grown other than the chem sour?

I was thinking of ordering the Iranian G13 for a SOG. What do you all think of that strain or should I pick a different one.

Giant calyxes with not much leaf and a few orange pistils, dense buds. Looks like the dream weed of my life that I lost in 1979. Never really had it but a half an oz. Wanted to get seeds of it and they only had a clone for sale which I could not manage at that time.
Does this smoke leave you feeling kinda 'hazy' like there is fog around you? I remember that smoke was hazy and relaxing but not too 'couchy'. Just right. Am sure that this is different but looks just the same.

I don't know anything about SOG but i would think this would be a perfect plant.

I've never run the ES but i would think with the addition of Chumaluma to make The Dope, the buzz profile will be different.
