ok I have a big problem...in the period of one day my babies started looking sad :(

the tips of the leaves are pointing downwords and there are some with leaves twisted in the other direction and its just depressing...

I think I made the official newb mistake of over watering.
they are about 4 months old and I know I know I should be in flowering but they had alot of stress due to heat so they are taking there time growing.
there about 17"+ and I have a few 1-1.5" nodes comming in.
the lights are 1 27W cfl and a 28W cfl.
air circulation is ok.

The soil is muddy I dont know how to fix this.
last night I tried to change some of the soil in one cup and see if that did anything, this morning I woke up to finding out that same girl has been gettin fan raped all night :( tore one of the leaves to hell...

please help I want this to work out but I dont know how to fix this...
the reason I fed them so much is because it was hot in my house and if they didnt have water or nutes they would get droopy as hell.

Thanks for any input pix coming later tonight.

Just keep a fan circulating surface air. The drain pan should be almost empty. Keep the lights on schedule. All will be fine.

All you really did, was simulate a day or two of heavy rain, in nature.

what's your soil mix? If your using miracle grow then it has nute already so if you overwatered it can release too many nutrients. Water when the top 2 inches of the soil is dry. You need at least 30% perlite in any mix...

We also overwatered our plants. We stopped watering them for a few days, and they seem to be returning to normal now. I would just give it time. Just to let you know, though, the leaves on our plants that already were droopy still are, but new growth is looking good.

If it's really hot in your room, you can try a couple of things I've learned: Freeze a 2L soda bottle and put it in there in front of a fan, make CO2, etc etc. We have a blower and CO2 and a soda bottle, cuz it's always HOT in our room. We also make sure the lights are off during the 6 hottest hours of the day. So far, these things have cooled the place down a bunch!

Good luck!

Let them grow, and remember not to disturb the soil too much. There are roots that grow out sideways too towards the top of the soil, not only straight down. KEEP SMOKE ALIVE!!
