Alright, look OP... there are a handful of ways to deal with such a situation. If not deny everything, you can also go for the other extreme... the crasser, more masculine, "Hey man, PUSSY IS PUSSY" as if it meant nothing to you. Ahem. I'm sure there are a few other good options too. The approach you DON'T want to pick is the one that says "Gee, I sure do seem obviously shame-ridden and secretive, I hope they don't think I'm ashamed--oh no, I better not tell them" (et cetera) because that last one is totally the one that DOES get you made fun of.

In fact, denial might too. Probably best to go with the "I'll hit anything with a hole" approach.
