I was communicating with an employee of Fero Led Europe
The AF600 had caught my attention (a joint enterprise with AREA 51 that ended badly).
That was 6 weeks ago.

Now I have been contacted again.
I would like to hear opinions concerning Fero Led's
they use EPISTAR LED's.

Their website is exceptionally bare.
This is explained due to FERO approaching the Credit Card companies
and needing to clean up references to potentially illegal stuff.

(Bankers being judgemental about marijuana....?
I suppose it's difficult to maintain absolute avarice after a few hits on a spliff?).

I got my first Panel from Fero EU (think I talk to a girl named Stacy) great service, trust worthy, and it for sure works and have now for a year or so (quality with out being the top of the line)

Got em to customize it for me for bloom (as I Veg with T5HOs) and wanted to replace my HPS, so swapped a few blue with red`s so to speak (if I should do it to day I would add more white, less red and no blue, maybe 1-1-1 2700K/5000K/640nm)

But its Cidly who make em for em and ship em to you (Fero take care of Vat/taxes and shipping and give a warranty but you also pay a bit more for that) so if you up for it look in to Cidly directly

http://www.cidly.com

There are money to be saved for sure, but dunno how it works and if you can order just one panel ? there web pages seems even more bare when it come to prices aso ?

Hope this help some

Slip

btw

some results from the LEDs

Nice one, mate.
It's Stacy I've been talking with
and she mentions some guy called Compo...
who she says used HID's for years, before LED's.

I'll look into Ci

Cidly make APOLLO's
FERO market them in Europe.

I keep returning to the idea of swapping my HID's
but LED's are still an unknown quantity....

IMHO, there's a newISH game in town for grow lights

Multichip or COB (10-100w) no lenses in the way.

COB/Chip deep inside a parabolic reflector.

Reflectors available in 90/110*

Chip attached to spyder/sunflower seed style heat sink + driver

I bought 2 of these to supplement my 3500/5000K white ufo 90s

Actual wattage may be a lot lower than advertised, so buy bigger wattage

Have you done a grow with these yet? I've been looking at some of these, but scarce usable info to discern whether they're tits or tits up.

I've also got a canadian re-branded of Apollo8 LED (greenlampcanada), and I've had no issues with my lights, so far. They claim to assemble the LED's in Canada, with their own LED array configuration. Not sure if they really do or not, but their warranty hopefully will cover me, in the event of a failure. The only thing that takes adjusting to with these lights are the inconsistencies in coverage. Within the light's footprint - excellent results, but once you step outside of the footprint, the light falls off dramatically. Even an HPS has more even coverage to the corners.

Not yet. I just ordered this week, but others are getting great results with COBs as well as multichips. See LED DIY threads

While hanging dozens of LED grow lights in a growth, it is very common that some modules get burnt out, no matter which brand...But so far, Apollo has been proved.
