proper way to dry in microwave. please advise!

can anyone tell me the proper procedure for drying a bit on bud in the microwave so i dont ruin it !!!! thanks when yall tell me ill git high!!!

Let me preface this by saying ...... Don't do it....but 50% power or less for 15-25 sec bursts......Please don't dry your whole grow like this, I take no responsibility...lol

Place the buds on a paper towel.

Put a large glass of water in the corner and dry the buds for 2 minutes.

Exchange the hot water with cold, Turn the buds over and run another 2 minutes.

You might need one more minute if the buds are big.

This is actually a good technique to make sure you have flushed your buds enough. I'll take a little nug and dry it in the micro. If I taste any nutes I keep flushing.

I put the nugs in between two damp paper towels and do it at full strength for 10 sec, let it cool, and repeat until dry.

see when the microwaves disperse this causes the immediate area around the object inside to heat up. while infareds increase in this area they start to result in osmosis. giving the water an adequate way to travel due to boiling and humidity. some argue putting in dry paper towls absorbs the surrounding humidity and others say putting in wet paper towels instigates the water in the bud to release it's water as humidity.

if you wanted to get real anal about it, do both put a wet paper towel on one side and a damp one on the other and the bud in the middle. as an idea then your sure to win.

the guy with the different cup ideas is interesting but i fail to see the need. as i do that technique of putting in cold items to lessen the microwaves power level. try it, put in a thing of ice cream and a thing of butter and i guarentee the butter wont melt as quickly, i do it all the time. so i don't see how adjusting the power level down with cold water in the microwave would effectively be used in curing the bud.

Low power 10%, 10 second bursts, between two wet slightly misted paper towels with a glass of water in the corner.

Better to use a toaster oven though....

Or put it on a heater...

Or better yet dont do it.... Not worth the shitty taste...

It does not cure the bud. Only time will cure the bud.

Microwaves in the low and thaw mode just cycle on and off using the same power (you can hear it if you try it).

A glass of cold water works better than putting the microwave on low. The water works by absorbing most of the energy instead of the buds. The buds don't get hot spots like you get without the glass of water. I've even seen stems smoke and burn without the glass of water!

I can dry a large bud in 1-2 minutes on normal high. Low takes 2-3 minutes. Using a glass of water takes it out to 5 minutes for the same size buds. The longer the better.

Try it and you will see what I'm talking about. The buds won't be so crispy dry and will smoke smoother.

One more thing for everyone else. We all know that using a microwave oven is not the way you dry your bud so quit saying it! Everyone knows it's for emergency/testing use only so give it a rest already.

allow all this "microwave" bull crap, the best ever way to dry a bud, is to stick it above the grates to a old style tv, not the new hd's etc, im talking the big ones that are still decent to use. the hot air it emits will dry your bud out completely, and its much better then artificially drying it out... trust me tried and tested method which works wonders, i had some wet skunk purchased from dealer... stuck it on there it turned dry as a crisp.

I have been sold some wet crap before, my little trick is to wrap it in an A4 piece of paper and put somewhere warm for an hour and half.

Actually works wonders!
