First grow Auto Northern Lights Purple Kush Berry Bomb Berry Ryder

Hey guys, just started my first grow. I have multiple strains and decided to go with just 4 plants for my first try and went with 4 that I thought would be the most similar even though one is an auto. They're seedlings now started from seed a couple days ago. I'll upload pictures in a minute let me know what you think, I'll listen to any advice!

Sounds good, but aren't you creating problems having an auto in there with them?

Eh I think the auto will do what it wants either way so if it starts to flower before the others are ready I don't think the lights being on vegging timing for the others will effect it too much. I believe some people grow them out at 20/4 or 18/6 all the way.

My purple kush seedling still has the outside of the seed stuck to a leaf does anybody know if that matters?

Auto strains flower when they are mature enough which is usually around 3-4 weeks so as long as you have the lights on for veg they will be good, one thing to never do is to put an auto in 12/12 (flowering lights) unless you want a really bad yield.

I didn't get to write a description for each picture like I wanted to and don't know if all 8 uploaded, it's kind of tricky on a phone sometimes. Anyway, I've been taking a picture everyday since they sprouted missed like the first day somehow though. I put them in those shot glasses of water around 11 pm 2/20 by 11 pm 2/21 three of them had cracked so I planted all three. They didn't all sink but when I came home around 9 - 10 pm on 2/22 I had all 4 as little baby seedlings. The first of the pictures are the night of 2/23 and then the others are 2/24 and this morning 2/25. A lot of dates I know, but I like to keep track to know exactly how much they're growing.

Thanks ilyaas! I didn't know you weren't supposed to put them in 12/12 at all. I thought with autos you just waited till they started to mature and flower and then put them in since they flower when they want to not when you change the lights like with photos.

With autos they will flower when they are mature enough regardless of the light cycle even if it is on veg schedule, most people leave the lights on throughout the whole grow although there is not much difference in 18/6 or 20/4 as you will get pretty much the same yield and save electricity... rep 4 rep; you first

The problem is that the Auto will start to flower on it's own, which means it will stretch whilst the others are still vegging so you'll have a height issue with your lamp as that plant will be taller than the others. You could switch your lights when it starts to flower so the others keep up, but then you might have wanted to veg them for a bit longer.

The other problem is the time issue, how will you flower the photo plants with your light on 18/6? Or will you flower your auto on 12/12?

Sorry to sound so down about it, but I think you've given yourself a headache there with that auto!

It's not that big a deal, I can move it if needed. If I wanted I could do some sort of lst to the others and keep them in veg while the auto finished.

Just looked back and realized all of these are autos besides the Berry Bomb lol also do you guys think I should top these guys? If so any tips? Wanna get a good yield. It is my first grow though. Also about how much time would that add them finishing out?

Ok thanks I will, I only asked cuz I read a couple threads where people topped theirs, maybe I should top the one photo to keep it in veg longer while the autos finish out.

Transplanted them into 3 gallon containers on 3/6/14
Since FFOF is a little hot for small seedlings I filled the pots most of the way up with it then made a little bowl kinda shape in the soil with the bottom of a small pot and filled it with Light Warrior and put the seedlings in so that they'll grow through that while small and then they'll be a little bigger by time they hit the FFOF.

Put them under my 400 watt MH on 3/7/14

Just a heads up..when you go to flower..keep an eye on the berry bomb..heavy producer but i fought pm like hell every day!!!
