no way this meter is brand new less than a month ago and was calibrated upon opening. you think it looks like ph issues???


Edit I just dipped my ph meter in a brand new bag of test solution and 7.01 read 7.27 on my meter so maybe it was calibrated wrong or needs calibration monthly???

So is there anything I can do to fix it now that its happened or anything I can do to help it bounce back its in the last 2 weeks of flowering that I've noticed this issue.

I would kill my plants if I added cal-mag, The nutrient I use strongly suggests against using any magnesium nitrate products due to the nature of their calcium bonded nutrients.

This looks exactly like the early stages of potassium Def, potassium is locked out if pH is 6.4 or lower, all nutrients but zinc won't lock up in soil from 6.5 to 7.4... Hydro optimum pH really depends on the element, there's generally a .3-.5 tolerance

If your meter is off by a tiny bit you could be locking it out, maybe try 6.8-7 or calibrate your Meter?

Oregons only organics, I typically feed at 6.5 although the plant right next to it is a sister clone of the same plant but 3 weeks behind in flower and getting approx. the same nutes so if it's just that my ph meter needed to be recalibrated the next plant won't have the same issue, but if it's a Deficiency then I'm sure I'll see it again

Not necessarily, if your nutes don't stay mixed the whole time, they will start to separate very fast and the last plants you water will have more nutes than the others... Also do you check the pH a few hours after you water? Make sure the pH stays the same...

It looks like as weird green maybe the beginning of a phosphorous deficiency also see red in there..either way the internet is a wonderful thing im shure you will find the answer your looking for.

Im assuming soil since your target ph is so very high.

Hydroponic nutrients usually like 5.8

Mag def, red stem and yellowing or chlorosis between veins. Chlorosis is the inability to produce chlorophyll, which magnesium is a key role player in the production of. Solution, Epsom salt foliar spray, and start using calmag or top dress epsom salts.

Heat issues, the top 3 leaf points seem to be the only ones affected. Did it lay up against something hot like a light? maybe to close to one. ? All leaves on all the plants?

Thanks guys I'm pretty sure that my problem falls either to light burn, (having leds 8-10inches away from the top) and/or ph imbalance calibrated my meter and found it was slightly off by about .2 ph so that with a high ph feed that I believe It may have gotten the last load with more liquid lime in it all of these things contributed to my problem I believe.
