good full spectrum lighting, compost teas, seed sprout enzyme teas, botanical teas, foliar sprays with kelp meal / aloe Vera mix
Your growing techniques seem to be adjusted. I plan on doing the right way, 1 improvement (or $50) at a time. :D

um ok. I don't adjust anything. I do rols - recycled organic living soil.

I maybe spend $150 a year on soil and nutrients. I make my own soil mix and recycle soil. I make my own worm castings and compost. I only spend money once once every 2 months on molasses for teas and mung beans for seed sprout teas. Less than $10 total. I grow my own plants for botanical teas.- aloe Vera, lavender, peppermint, nettle, comfrey, dandelions, etc..

my nutes $50 twice a year.

down to earth vegan mix
kelp meal
neem meal
rockdust

alfalfa meal - for teas during veg

when the leaves point towards the ceiling. That's referred to as praying leaves. That's a good thing. It means the stomata are more open and absorbing more photons.. Which in turn equates for faster veg time and better yields.. My leaves are constantly praying. I wouldn't have it any other way.
A dude I know refers to it as a plant hard on lol either way, leaves pointed up=happy plants.
