Here it is, she says "You can see Russia from land in Alaska" and uses that as a credit to her foreign relations ability. And that's not Tina Fey.

But I never realized that context of the interview before this, the guy basically says to her "How does being so close to Russia help?"
She's correct, you can see Russian soil from Alaska.

What Sarah Palin COULD have said that would have made her a bad-ass is
"My distance from the United States Mainland and position between Canada and Russia give me a unique perspective on foreign policy that most Candidate's don't have"

She could not have said that. Her cognitive dissonance prevents logical thoughts from exiting the bi-labial valve in her cranium.

I agree to that extent, I just meant if we were having a real election for a real nation that actually mattered, that is what we would hope they would say.

Sarah Palin didnt say that. An actress on SNL said it... And you keep parroting it like a complete idiot...
Actually BOTH of them said it. Sarah Palin said it, then an actress on SNL said it again to emphasize how incredibly stupid it was. But you would know that if you had done ANY research on the matter.
"You can actually see Russia from land here in Alaska" is a direct, verbatim quote from Palin.
Polly want a cracker??

You dont notice the difference between the two quotes??

One is factual, one is made up on a comedy show. You never seem to hear the factual quote from the left. And talk about a war on women. the libtards do that one up right!!

yeah, because hillary said she could see russia from her window..
This is what Tiny Fey said on SNL, and a lot of people believed this was an actual statement of Sarah Palin.

Her direct verbatim quote is a factual statement, if you're going to mock someone, it's best to have the facts first..

I think it is a stretch to call Palin's quote "Factual". She makes it into the camp on a technicality, the Diomede islands are the only part of Russia that is even remotely possible to see from Alaska, and while that fact may give her the slight technical parachute, I can guarantee you that when she said "You can see Russia" she wasn't referring to barely populated islands. I highly doubt she even knows what the Diomede islands are, and they DEFINITELY weren't what she was referring to being able to see from Alaska. But defend her idiocy all you want, it's fine by me.

You claim otherwise earlier.

You must not have understood what was being responded to when you quoted him.

You quoted a guy that corrected someone who said Palin said she could see Alaska from her house. Tina Fey said that and not Sarah Palin. As you pointed out, what was actually said by Palin was different. So really, you need to put down the joint. You are way too high.

Sarah Palin had 10 times the qualifications that Barak Obama had when he was elected yet here you sit throwing stones from your glass house... Amusing to say the least...

If she was a slave, then you would likely feel she granted an advantage by being 6/10 as qualified.
