yes, I bloom with the 2700k bigger yield. then flop the 10000 k bulbs in for more frosty buds when you start flushing .. if not possible then the 6500k bulbs will work . it does make a difference. I suggest only flowering with the 2700k until they stop getting fat. then switch the bulbs. trust me the quality will be the same as if you just flowered with a mixed spectrum of 27 and 65 k bulbs. those 6500 k bulbs don't give that much yield. the quality is all brought together with the last 2 weeks of flowering . for us well some or most commercial growers . they use hps until last week or 2 then switch to mh bulbs. same as what you need to do with those cfl. lot of people running mh 6500 k in early flower. for first 2 weeks to slow down stretch. some. but then switch to hps 2700 k get yield then back to 6500k. hope my experience helps you .
I was going to go with the 6 bloom an 2 veg bulbs for the bloom, but I think I'll try it your way.
Also, I'm into day 30 and 40 of a 7 plant grow, but all the plants seem so short and stunted with none of the nodes more than an inch apart.
I would of flipped already, but but wanted to get some more height as none of my plants are more than a foot tall, but they look extremely healthy and green.
I'm growing five different strains that are mostly indica dominant, I believe - Golden Goat, OG Skywalker, Presidential, Wrecking Ball, and Querkle or Blue Dream.
If I want more stretch during the veg, should I put in a couple of bloom bulbs?
