I would try to go with some cree cobs they have some real nice ones , you could probably take the housing off that case but I am not sure if those drivers would work with the cree chips .

If your new light was say a Ferrari (provide actual visceral thrills) I could understand being so far removed price-wise from say buying a base model Hyundai, but it’s for growing plants
The horticulture market is much smarter than you give us credit for
COB chips like you are using are available @ ~ $50-100, depending on wattage
The basic style/design you use has been in place for ~ one year, and exists at 1/5th the price: I can assure you, it provides ~ 90% of the ability
Even if your company reduced the price by half, it till would not represent good value compared to similar product offerings

some Ppl just think they are smarter then the rest of the world, like you found his light online, now that would tell me that there would be a pretty good chance that you also search elsewhere, I more then once couldn't resist to PM the owners when I fall over a "offer" like that, but I guess there logic is that for every 100 Ppl. there might be one looser that don't know better, just sad that they build a business on that, I never buy anything online or at the store with out double and tribble checking for better prices and reading reviews aso

Absolutely insane^^............still haven't heard back about the specific osram cobs being used, must have 24 karat metal core connectors at that price.....lol
$1500 for 220-250watts====failure, you can build a TOP BIN cree cob panel that will light up a 4x8 area for that price.

After several emails back and forth, in one he said that ONE customer said blah, blah, blah, great light, and based on that, don't "I think" it is worth the $$$$. hahahahahahahahaha
I responded that even with independent testing, there is no way his light would produce 5xs as much as lights selling for 1/5th the price
He finally asked why I keep the dialog going since I am not interested
I basically told him since he is wasting our time, I thought it was fair to waste his

Well don't count me to be an expert, but, they posted no price. Not a fan of reflector/lens, unless high quality glass/optics
According to what I have learned, commercial IR diodes do not last long. Good ones are $$$$. Be good to know whether chip functions when individual diodes die
