Thanks for all the input.
I'm sure I'm not the only one who will benefit
PSUAGRO
One hell of a find, and @ $149 woohoo
Could it really be 255w actual?
Hell that seems like a fair price for 100w
Finally glass reflectors + 180*s OMG
Please let me know if Osrams
EDIT I emailed them. Their Message board provides no real answers "sales person will get back to you"
Are you sure about the price?
No disrespect at all^^..............I looked at the banner and it says usd 149....then cuts off, don't tell me it's $$1499!!!! holy shit........wow that's insane if true, still no response from chinano disrepect, but I think you may be off by a factor of 10 on the pricing:

here's a 100W in action @ RIU:SWEET!
funny, after reviewing the link to the product he purchased, they mix pics so I'm not 100% sure if it's phosphor basedhere's a 100W in action @ RIU:

I would try to go with some cree cobs they have some real nice ones , you could probably take the housing off that case but I am not sure if those drivers would work with the cree chips .My goal here should be obvious: it is to gain led enlightenment, for me, and others who want to know what parameters define a quality cob
Absolutely insane^^............still haven't heard back about the specific osram cobs being used, must have 24 karat metal core connectors at that price.....lolSo I heard back
Good news
Buy > 2 and get free shipping lol
Here's their response:
Nice day,
It's so wise for you to choose Bysen,as you know,we're the top one&first one in led grow light.
ChloroBA C2 is the most hi-tech type all over the world now,it spent 20 of our engineers 4 years time to design out,par value 3860umol,2-3 times than common types, wavelength 380-850nm,quite similar to sunshine but better than sunshine.
The unit price is USD1500 but of course will have a better price for our retailer, shipping charge to America is USD105.67,free shipping if more than 2pcs.
Our end users are quite crazy with this type now because it can reduce at least 20% of the growth time and almost double the yield, especially perfect for medical plants.
I think it will have a good market there in America,by what's the most popular type for you now Rob?
and mine...
Thank you for the reply
If your new light was say a Ferrari (provide actual visceral thrills) I could understand being so far removed price-wise from say buying a base model Hyundai, but it’s for growing plants
The horticulture market is much smarter than you give us credit for
COB chips like you are using are available @ ~ $50-100, depending on wattage
The basic style/design you use has been in place for ~ one year, and exists at 1/5th the price: I can assure you, it provides ~ 90% of the ability
Even if your company reduced the price by half, it till would not represent good value compared to similar product offerings

Hi PetFlora, What do you make of the huge price difference between the BYSEN ChloroBA 380-800nm and the VANQ 380-840nm?.
the bysen product looks well designed but the price is silly money, I've e-mailed both company's to ask whats the difference between both identical products but naturally they say very little and tell me to just "try for myself"..
Nice find and the specs "look" good.............but bridgelux doesn't make those chips & the pricing is too highAbsolutely insane^^............still haven't heard back about the specific osram cobs being used, must have 24 karat metal core connectors at that price.....lol
$1500 for 220-250watts====failure, you can build a TOP BIN cree cob panel that will light up a 4x8 area for that price.[/QUOTE
there is a cheaper version from VANQ http://www.aliexpress.com/item/2014-vanq-New-arrival-best-diy-led-grow-light-source-phosphors-full-spectrum-cob-100w-medical/1566632170.html
Works for me, I've even had to add some 30w CFLs for heat as it runs cool on my cpu cooler.
Like I said, if I would go the cob route I would only use vero/cxa product lines
Any pics of your diy??????
no worries, don't have to post pictures if your uncomfortable ...........WW cross with non-existent smells is new to me, I ran DP's BB and thought it was pretty strong, not sure though=== which breeder are you using???I will be posting pics soon hopefully, I only have a camcorder for taking pics but will hopefully use my partners mobile to upload to her iPad if I can convince her. I've never uploaded pics of anything before not even on youtube, im paranoid and my partner is more paranoid than me regarding posting pics of my grow, I'm growing female seeds WWxBB which is a strain I like as the odour in almost non-existent in flower, but I do want to show pictures my set-up since I constantly rave about multichip I need to put my money where my mouth is don't i..
