Really leafy looking bud harsh with some crystals why??

I cant seem to fully understand this and haven't found a clear answer but I would like to know why is it that some growers will say they have some good weed lets say its outdoors and imply that its some fancy strain yet it will smell like homegrown almost like oregano and be covered in leaf airy and crumble right up.

I have heard and read that some grower are lazy or are just out for extra profits to maximize profits and weight.

But i have seen bud time and time again that looks like there would be nothing but a stick left if you trimmed too much some bud seems to be all leaf with hardly any crystals on the outer leafs then in the center crystal covered leaf.

?? why is some weed tight fat dense nuggets all solid hairy bud and others a bunch of crap leaf??

Is it the strain the way its grown how much light ect what creates leafy homegrown buds.

is It true that outdoors is always leafier then indoors or is that just a myth we are supposed 2 believe.

What causes this all leaf bud and what can e done to get more solid bud out of our plants.

I have gotten some nice buds in the past but they were alil leafy outdoors had crystals all over even the leaf but wished there wasn't so much.

I also tried a clone indoors that was from some stuff that was grown outdoors and it seemed pretty leafy still don't know if the strain played a part .

So any tips or advice on how to get nice buds for beginners would help

you get that nasty tasting bud from a bad cure, dried it to quickly.
I've seen it go the other way also, taking to long to dry your buds too.
Fluffy buds could be not enough light, not enough nutrients. not enough flower time.
plant problems, stress, bugs.

Good Luck on Your Grow

There's an infinite combinations of training and stress techniques that will each strain will respond differently to. but I wouldn't refer to "homegrown" likes its synonymous with some nasty schwagg. Isnt the sticky icky growing in my laundry room "homegrown"?

If I was strapped with what is describe I'd turn everything to the eyeleaves for grind and everything down from that I'd boil it for its oil. Then I'd smuck it all together into a big chunk of cheese. Then instead of bitching the custies are walking away smiling:)

still no one has explained why buds end up all leaf and airy why is say kush that comes from cali all perfectly tight trimmed bud yet your neighbors so called cheese all leaf.

I know what curing can do and how its done just don't wanna waste my time growing bud that will end up a pyle of leaves

So too much n durin flowering will cause more leaf to grow the actuall bud???

Like they already said: There are numerous reasons bud will end up fluffy and leafy. I suppose the majority reason would be early harvest. I've had some go hermie and chopped them down quite early and the bud was always fluffy and complete shit. With good genetics and researching grow techniques here you can grow high quality bud. I have a decent but small 2 tent setup and grow high quality meds with ease.

I like it when they get so mature and get so resinated and hard that it looks like you could cut a branch off and beat someone to death with it..

im thinking that alot of people just pick a strain that should finish in time where i live and one that is easy to grow and water resistant so whatever is best may contain leaf to bud ratio.

I mean explain this you grow a plant till october and trim yet the bud is composed of mostly leaf.

some harvest in the middle of september but would that make the bud be composed of more leaf say then buds that grew till october??
