Every individual has the right to be left alone don't they?
probably not a good idea to open a business that is 'open to the public' if you want to be left alone.

but don't let facts stop you, you've got a room not to clean.

For a business to BE a private business, it would only be open to the people the private business owner wants it to be open to or it is not a "private business", since one of the key elements of "private" (control) has been removed.

You failed logic, but passed government wordsmithing with flying colors. Hurry the kids prison bus is outside, you'll miss your ride to the Prussian School if you don't put your pecker away and get dressed.

Why would anyone hoping to run a successful business purposefully exclude a portion of the population because of something so trivial as them being homosexual? I just don't get it.. The bible says homosexuals are "an abomination" and their behavior is deviant, but where does it say you shouldn't interact with them, service them, talk to them, etc.? Why don't these same people close shop on Sundays and wear only 1 combination of thread for their clothes, give up shellfish and grow out their beards? OHHHH because that part of that same book condemning homosexuals is for a different time.. The hating homosexuals part isn't though, even though it's in the same section..

Consistency, bigots lack it.

@ RR, to clarify, I'm not calling you a bigot or grouping you in that same category because you have other ideological reasons for supporting this bill, some that make sense to me, but I realize the end result of your position leads to more division, which is not the solution imo

I think people should have every right to do whatever they want behind closed doors, sub murder and rape and sick shit like that, but as soon as you're dealing with the public, any exclusions based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, etc. you're no longer behind closed doors and you have a responsibility to conduct yourself and your business in a professional manner.

Consider, for example, an atheist business owner who refuses Christians service based on their religious beliefs. Would you agree that would also be wrong?

just the opposite.

he's a utopian day dreaming senile fool with a very apparent racist streak.

The non-initiation of aggression principle called and said your delusional thoughts are unfounded.

P.S.- Have the gerbils reached your brain yet?

Nope. Just go ask the head of your local pig department how important your "rights" are.

You get extra points for the proper use of pig. Peace.
