good climate controller?

Im looking to invest into a climate controller for my outdoor grow room in the u.k..
The temps here are all over the place and i need to use a oil rad in cold temps and in summer have more fun battling high temps.
Im looking for something i can plug 2 fans (in/out) and a heater
The thing is i need one that does not completely stop the outtake fan as i will end up with people smelling my crop but these are the only ones i can find available
I don't run co2 as im not completely dialled in so it would be a waste.
Im not interested in some fan dangled space thing but something thats simple and works well.

If anyone can point me in the right direction i would be very happy!!

Cheers, Phat

Ecotechnics evolution fan speed controller.

Allows intake and extraction fan control to maintain negative pressure and temps, will switch on up to a 3kw heater to increase temps where needed.

Not used them personally but plenty of people use them down my local grow shop.

Personally I only use a single fan speed controller that senses temperature and adjusts accordingly.

But then I run passive vents and a tubular heater.

I use passive intake at the minute but im sealing my room properly soon so i can use an intake as well as exhaust
Any chance you can post a link to your controller?

There are the SMS fan speed controllers.
From the single fan speed controller
single with thermostat and humidistat.
Duel fan speed controller (for input and extraction fans)
The Duel has about 4 models, each incremental price rise is commensurate to the Amperage of the model.

Then there's the ECOTECHNICS EVOUTION ENVIRONMENT CONTROLLERS.
Which can work with (or without) the ECOTECHNICS EVOLUTION CO2 SYSTEM.

RHINO also make a fan speed controller system.

Personally I hope to buy the ECOTECHNICS system (around June, money permitting?).

Connect with the (smaller) input inline fan, the extraction inline fan (attached to carbon filter)
the dehumidifier and the heater.
Input data - Maximum daytime temp and RH, Minimum daytime temp and RH
Maximum night time temp and RH, Minimum night time temp and RH
ALSO the slowest you want the fan speed to drop to.
(This ensures that, even if temps are too low, the fan speed will not drop so low as to make the air scrubbing abilities fail
and the smell of the plants be allowed to escape).

ECOTECHNICS EVOLUTION have websites that are easily found.

I use an SMS SMART CONTROLLER with my RVK150a1/480m3/h fan and my RHINOPRO 900m3/h filter.

I set my tubular heater on a timer to come on during dark hours.

I also use a dehumidifier later into flowering.

I think the problem was i was looking for climate control rather than enviromental control
Im getting one the end of next week and i think ecotechnics is the way im going to go as its a fair price for what it enables me to acheive
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ecotechnics-Evolution-Digital-Fan-Speed-Controller-for-Hydroponics-Grow-Lights-/140968715217?pt=UK_Baby_Baby_Feeding_Bottle_Warmers_Coolers_LE&hash=item20d263e3d1

Its all about finding what works for you and maximising your yield with it.

Currently from my area I average +400g each harvest from my little 400w light.

I use an oil radiator at the current moment 1.5kw
Would you say a tube heater is more efficient?
Basically im growing in a shed in my back garden that insulated with 25mm cellotex and having problems in the winter
Im using a 6inch fan for outake the actual space is 6x8 foot that im using
I know winter is over soon so its high temps i will have to deal with next

A tubular heater works for me.

My grow area is a walk in closet within my house.

If I were in a shed, then a convector heater would be my choice.

That a strange piece of kit i assume you have heater and inlet/outlet hard wired into it?.... how does it work for you?
This is a very handy tool, it come in several models, 12v and 220v, with 2 switches, 1 for cooling the other for heating, I got the 220v 1 cooling switch model, once it arrives, plug a wall plug into it, and a wall socket into the other pins, set the required temp....and you are good to go, a heater will stay on until it hits the required temp or a fan ..etc etc I got the idea from a friend who does home brewing ..I use it to control, a light bult in a metal box to keep germing seeds warm(25c70f) keeping the clones warm if cloning in winter, keep a fan on in the grow room, if it gets to hot, or again a heater ....great essential tool, I hope to add this tool to my blog someday ...lol
