I think we should save them if we are the reason they are dying. If the decline is natural, scoop a few up and put them in zoos to keep the genetics alive and let the wild ones die as god intended.

Was gonna be my exact answer. Except maybe the zoo part. Zoos are horrible. What koala bear wants to live in a cage in bum fuck south Dakota?

The butterfly effect. We save the Tasmanian Devils. Then they get a rare disease, bite a human, then the zombie apocalypse starts. Hmm, maybe we should save them.

has to be a few of them in there that were up to par with cow/pig/fish.. or heck.. what if one single extinct animal was flavored like fish and chicken and pork all in one? Like the legs tasted like chicken... ribs like beef and then rest was all bacon?
