Health Care and Income - What would you pay?

How much of your income would you be comfortable paying for healthcare?

Not saying "forced" or "voluntary" as both sides can be argued...

Like, if there was a mandatory tax for health care that was 5% of your paycheck each week and that covered you completely, would you be okay with that?

Shopping around for healthcare plans, what is the price point where you would say "well I gotta get that because it is a fair deal." (please put it in terms of percentage of pay)

A mandatory tax for healthcare insurance is considered being forced.

since needing health care is inevitable, you are being "forced" by forces outside of anyone's control.

so if you want to whine and complain and blubber about it like a tyke, blame the human condition being that way, not government for recognizing that plain truth.

I must have read it wrong, I usually take the word "or" as a choice.

the question is completely hypothetical and has absolutely nothing to do with what's going on atm..
her question is simple, at what percent of your salary, if you were offered, would you think that getting insurance was a good deal?? would it be, say, 5% of your check, 10%, 100%, etc, etc, so on and so forth.

Well it won't let me edit it. da fuck?

For myself, I would be willing to pay 5% for myself and prob 8-12% for whole family.

I would prob pay 15% for a good 80/20 plan that covers all pediatrition necessary visits and maternity.

they pay less than that in other nations and just go get medical care, no co pays or hospital bills. ever.

Premiums are not calculated as a percentage of your income. Are you trying to backdoor a "healthcare tax"?

you are aware that all the countries that have "free" healthcare pay less than we do to cover ALL of their citizens, right?

yeah, i'm sure pie is using her geopolitical power to backdoor a health care tax through the divided legislature.

don't let the meth make you too paranoid, red.
