SB 736, whats the plan here folks?

Rick Jones is a Neo Conservative, he spends tons of Michigan tax dollars on attacking Marijuana....why? Who knows... but guys keep in mind how much money mmj brings in Michigan Millions a year, so alot of these bills from idiots like him get thrown to the waste side each year. Make sure you send him plenty of hate mail.. the fat slob thinks he will be Rush Limbaugh soon.:D

Rick Jones is a career Cop/Lawyer with a life long interest in the profit & power of our "Justice System". He is likely a right winger as well, which is an oddity in that crowd.

Oddity? You find me a conservative politician that supports legalizing marijuana, and I'll find you 100 that don't.

Bill Schuette is another example.

I was referring to the "Justice System" industry, not a left/right political ideology as it refers to MJ. Some of the most notable pro MJ politicians are in fact Conservatives/Republicans (Ron Paul/Gary Johnson). I'm not sure of your point, but I'll just leave it at that.

Ron Paul is a independent, all the anti MMJ bills are from conservatives, please look at all the attack bills and decide for yourself if you still want to vote conservative still. I would not!

LoL I believe you are more confident than correct. Many of us here voted for Obama based merely on his pro MJ rhetoric ...

SB 736 looks like its kinda stalled, it was sent to a jud. Commitee which means they have put It on the back burner for now.. I will keep an eye on it. We need to send letters to the Governor against the bill.
I read the whole bill basically if you are in any kinda of custody battle, the judge can take in consideration your mmj card as a risk. Really dumb bill..

It has passed the senate by 2 votes . now on to the house. I'm a betting man so I say it will pass and of course with immediate effect! What does open to the public exactly mean? Like visible/smellable from your porch or like a bar? it's private property but open to the public

Wow,I mean WOW.Iam sure as that was being written/reviewed someone was having a scotch or beer,or traveled to a bar afterward to relax but patients who are parents are subject to investigation to see if their fit to parent while medicating themselfs. How many horror stories are their that involve booze and parents abusing their kids while intoxacated.Jesus.

I'm a betting man too, I say it'd be a few years in the courts before you can get a clear definition on that. I'm also betting you're thinking of sb783, this one deals with parents engaged in the program.

A friend went to court yesterday over custody of his child the judge ordered him to send his card back to the state ASAP. Or forfeit custody.

No drug tests his ex threw his card in the ring and said allot that was not true. Guess it got ugly will talk with him about the judges name. He was having drug tests all came back clean he has not smoked in over a year because of custody battle. He won but cannot have a card.

what a crock of shit. so I can be drunk as hell and take care of a child, but I cant have a medical card issued by the state of Mi for health conditions and grow my own meds wih a child. BS!!!!! how many alcohol related problems vs mmmj related problems are currently In the judicial system. ill be a betting man that alcohol related offenses top mmmj offenses.
