Noob 1st grow - plastic storage tub grow

Hi guys, first of all just wanted to say hi, been lurking in the background a lot trying to soak up as much info as possible! Some great threads here especially for beginners like myself.

Ok so as my first ever grow attempt, I intend to start off by using a large plastic storage container as my plant's home, and will be just growing the one just to see how it goes, what I need to change etc.

The seed I got is from Attitude and it's a fem afghan kush ryder.

So my equipment list as it stands is:
110 litre plastic tub
2 x 125W (actual) CFLs [1 is 2700k, the other is 6400k]
Plant Magic Plus Soil Supreme
Perlite
Lightite sheeting
2 x PC fans wired to 12v adaptors
A couple of timer switches
Duct tape, wire ties and all that business
And a few pots and saucers

Now I am missing nutes, was hoping to get a recommendation as to what I should go for? Bearing in mind I'm based in the UK.

Any by advice would be amazing and I will post pics of my setup when I can!

Wow a 110lt tub must be massive, are you growing a tree? Everyone is going to say something different when it comes to nutrients, so you'll just have to pick one that you like the look of as they will all do the same job. Just go very easy on the nutes to start with and you'll be ok, though your plant shouldn't need any for the first couple of weeks.

Would be nice to see some pics of your setup, and get that seed in what are you waiting for??? lol

Yea that contaner is waaaay big!! Not filling the entire thing with soil right? I think starting in that large of a tub could be bad news. If im not mistaken, your growth will be slow because the roots would be taking most of that energy and going downwards, right? Yea I would like to see some pics too. Lights are ok, planning on running both at once or switching to 2700 during flower? Id recommend maybe

another bulb or two. Could be 23w. and you'd be able to position them around your plant. just my .02 cents.

So could be too big? So maybe 80 litre sort of size?

Yeah was planning to run both bulbs at the same time. Was also thinking of putting in a couple of fl strips either side just to give maximum coverage but I guess I'll be a while off that yet.

Yikes thats big!! Lol. Well id like to see a report back Saturday night with a pic of your setup so we can tear it apart. Hahaha Just kidding!! But really im curious, as is probably everyone here, not a soil grower myself so nutes for soil are Sanskrit to me.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe the "tub" is the "cab", not the pot. OP can correct me if I am wrong.

If im not mistaken an adult plant will live happily in 5 gallons. for you that would be 19 Litres. 19!!!! NOT 110. Hahaha

Ah yeah correctamundo WDIK, the cab is 110l, the plant pots I've got go up to max 10l. Sorry for bad terminology, noob strikes again!

So over the past couple of weeks I've been pretty busy and couldn't start this build. The only free time I've had so far was yesterday so I made the most of it and nearly finished my cab setup. Just got to line the back, top and doors with sheeting then it's done. Feedback would be much appreciated!
