I've read a few people say that they dislike growing HAZE strains
but I never understood why.
Or, for that matter, what characteristics a stain must have to be considered a HAZE ???

What are these characteristics?

What difficulties can the HAZE strains cause for growers???

From my understanding, true hazes tend to take a really long time to flower and are sativa dominant strains. Other than that I don't really know much about hazes. I don't want to wait any longer than 10 weeks to finish flowering a strain out, so I haven't messed with any. Except for Super Lemon Haze, but I don't know if people consider it a true haze or not. Most people consider Nevil's Haze to be a true haze strain. Check out Mr. Nice Seeds. I know he has some true haze strains in his gear. Anyways with such a long flowering period most growers don't want to grow them. Connoissuer Genetics has some SSSDH and Nevil's Haze crosses that flower in 11-13 weeks I believe. I have heard that the strains are top knotch if you are willing to wait that long.

Tom Hill's Pure Haze. Seedsman has a pure Haze too. Neville's is a Haze Bx using NLxHaze as the mom I believe.

They stretch a lot, are finicky with excessive nutrients and generally take 14 weeks (quick) or more (20+) weeks to finish flowering.

Some of the best smoke there is though if you find a winning phenotype. I wouldn't recommend them if you don't know what you're doing.

I also wouldn't recommend them with conventionally hung lamps.

i only grow landrace sativas, my longest are columbian and avg 24 weeks.. i will never grow a haze
lanky, crappy yield

oh and im getting there northof..

never herd of a haze till i got on a computer. I think 2 years ago
couldnt honestly point one out to you
other then its a sativa

I grew out a arjan strawberry haze and it took 13 weeks. It is an up high, really nice taste.... I dont think I will grow it again. stretched a lot, and the potency, I would like a bit more, I may try another haze down the line, I would just have to find the right one

Haze grows kind of fox tail buds but can get dense and fat if
you know how to grow it correctly and remember Blue Dream
is half haze and is considered top shelf by most. Most everyone everywhere
loves Blue Dream for a very good reason. I grow it
and Blue dream has a very strong stone, tastes very sweet and has a unbelievable smell.

I grew super silver haze once and the buds smelt and tasted like
30 different candies all rolled into one. Super xtra sweet that completely
blows people away. Can't go wrong with any haze. Not a big yielder so just
grow a bit more and your fine.

A haze has a very distinct smell to it, and also a very distinct head change. Comparing to an indica its a "lighter" stone that resides mostly in your head. When becoming active you can almost forget you have a buzz. Its a light "haze" filling your head. Usually very thought provoking and creative. I think many people think haze is bunk because they cant decipher the difference between the narcotic and haze high.


As for growing haze, its completely what you prefer personally. I would take peoples opinions of strains with a grain of slat as every bud affects people differently. I love sativa and a haze is the best wake n bake there is IMO. Most produce a good crop considering most start flowering a haze as a small veg.


if you want a good haze to try to grow without an incredibly long flower time, haze #3 from greenhouse is a very good and stable strain that brings a nice representation of what haze smells like, tastes, and the type of head change.

I think The flying dutchmen still have Sams geer to..

Guy above. Nothing Greenhouse sell come close to Original haze. Thats more like them old skool ganja/Spice/Herb smelling stuff that grows long trippy buddy twiggs

but yea herd of em
i never logged in to a computer till bout 2 to 3 years ago
all seeds i got before then were given from friends or bag seed
one guy said foxtail had couple them last year out
mr nice walkabout the folks liked it
I personally dont smoke couldnt tell that way either
but i thank jesus for attitude seeds he!!!!!!!

i just meant hendrix's song, purple haze, it's been out since the 60's, so i'd think even people who don't smoke weed have heard of purple haze is all..

In my experience pure hazes do best under the sun.
Even indoors, under 1000W HIDS, the buds can be wispy and feathery, although they will still pack a nice Hazey euphoria.
But they more readily reach their full genetic potential under the sun.:joint:

Blue Dream is more like a 1/4 Haze.
