Nutes needed to clone.

What nutes do you need to start a clone, and if you don't have those specific nutes is it impossible. Im just wondering because i just topped and the plant is worth keeping around so i was wondering if theres anyway to just throw it in soil to keep it as another plant. anybody have any advice?

Nutrients for a Cutting.
You can use water, but this will take longer, and the success rate drops.
You can do a soil layer but like the water it takes a long time and the success rate isn't high.
IMO- Get a small bottle of "Rapid Start" General Hydroponics makes it. It's the best in my Opinion.

Good Luck on Your Grow.

Make a little bubble cloner - I have never had a cutting fail to root in one so far. Just need a small air pump, an airstone, a neoprene insert, and a plastic coffee can (or something similar)... would cost less than $15 to make.

Good advice, definitely worth looking into, thanks Sable!

No nutes needed.

Just get a tray of rapid rooter plugs (all organic with a natural rooting hormone in them) and a vented humidity dome.

After the cuts root and a good rootmass has grown out of the plugs, transplant and begin to feed.
