Got in a Fight with my Windshield

Well, actually it's still going on. It started about 40 minutes ago. I sprayed the outside with windex and wiped all of the windows clean, but when I started on the windshield I noticed the outside still had alot of oil/streaks. I finished inside and went to finish the outside, but....it told me the streaks were on the inside, so I went back in, THEN the inside was telling me it was really the outside!! One of those motherfuckers is lying! I have about emptied a bottle of windex and used a roll of paper towels. I even got some cotton wash rags involved. Shit is STILL streaking, you know, with that oil glaze?!?!

Any pro tips?

Wash it with soap to break down the oil, then rinse and dry and THEN try the window cleaner again

hose that bitch down w/ windex or w/e you got and use the newspaper just like a paper towel dryin it. my grandmother was a house maid and ever since she showed me that..ive never used anything else. youll be done in 5 minutes tops!!

clayton, pro tip, wipe the inside vertically, and the outside horizontal, or vice versa, w/e floats your boat.. this way when your done, you can tell which side the smears are on by the direction they're running..

DIrectly onto the dash (and windshield), instead of onto a cloth to wipe it on.

I have a good tip from back in my auto detailing days...apply rain x on a sunny day. Allow to bake in for a few hours, then remove.

I heard that vinegar was good at getting rid of grease.. but maybe you don't want your car to smell like food.

Dish soap water to remove, then Rain X.

And lock the garage from now on.
