Are there less phenos in fem seeds?

prob a dumb question but im no pro. I got a 5 pack of next gen grape god bud, can I get a good mother from 1 or 2 seeds? I don't have a lot of room and have to keep my plant count low due to med restrictions.
 
As long as they are from the same stock.
I guess its possible they could get mixed up if they have multiple donor plants that are different.
 
even fem'ed plants will have different phenos, yes.. we have lots of recessive genes that didn't express themselves in our bodies, and if they get lined up with the same recessive genes when a new seed is made, naturally they will show..
but yes, i think fem'ed seeds will have less phenotypes, although i'm not 100% on this, just basic science behind my thinking and reasoning..
 
As long as we're in the 'dumb question' zone.......let's say ' hypothetically ' that a couple of hermie DNA Lemon OG dusted some low branches of a c-99 roommate [and a bottom branch Goji clone]. All plants are VG smoke, even the hermie lemon og. The dumb question: do the resulting se-eds have value, or are they likely to be herms as well?

the hermie trait is dominant is usually rears its head in a large percent of its offspring amos..
 
I've wondered this too. Thinking back, there are several fem strains that I've grown that each plant seemed like damn near clones of each other.
 
if you have the room amos plant a few and watch them, plenty of elite buds have been discovered through the odd nanner or two.
 
There's 0 guarantee there will be less phenotypes. Selfed true F1's will result in true F2's - which produce the most phenotypes possible.

It all depends on how they were made, and since most breeders never tell you, there's no guarantee.

This would be an S1 of an IBL or otherwise really stable line and/or a true F1 (taking two IBL's and doing a feminized cross).

Depends why they went herm. If it's a dominant trait then there's a good chance the resulting plants will be hermaphroditic. I'm not sure it is a dominant trait and I have never heard one way or the other. However, if it is dominant that means there's a recessive side in all likely hood in your plant. Which means that maybe half will be hermaphroditic and half will not.

I'm not 100% sure if it's dominant or not, but I pretty highly doubt it. If it is then DNA is pretty lazy, but I doubt that too.
 
I've never had the same phenotype from feminized s33ds until now> freebies from seedsman.
2x Fem OG kush > the 2 I received are identical plants. The final decision is in the smoke quality though.

I've grown over 40 feminized beans(5 or 10packs), and this is the first time I've gotten plants from a feminized strain that look like siblings.

If the smoke is powerful/flavorful, I might keep it around(for awhile).
