MOVING ON!
I will say after talking openly about it with a few people I kind of made myself feel better about the new light...
There is a method to the madness, and I don't see any reason why this new panel would not outperform the SGS (more efficient whites, more red)
For my peace of mind I break it down as they are running the CWs to consolidate "space" on the panel so they can add more red, without being inefficient, and keep their 15-20% blue.
After running all my whites, personally I think NW is your "all around..." if you have a "direction" that lets you use more efficient emitters, wouldnt you? the xpe's are already like, top 3 right Supe? I get what you are saying about the warmer color temps hyroot- root growth kicks in with a little more red... but I think id still go CW+R (erhum. AT's 4:1) to keep stacking my nodes how I want- and still get that perk of root growth, or even all 6200+ for mums to just stack-stack-stack.
As a "GENERAL" statement- more blue is better- especially veg- but yes, you can "accent" the spectrum with peaks that provide specific activity... The more and more I talk about it the more and more Im thinking about getting one. Damn white cases.........
