I have one plan under 600w hps a week into flowering. Its also a bagseed just to passify me untilln my tent and Nl seeds hit. Its to much at eight inch lol plants drools bad but I moved d I to ten and itb perks up fast so basically u can't have to much light if its cooled and kept at 7th right distance with a gentle breeze brushing the top canopy.

If your not gonna upgrade to more plants I'd just get a 250 hps/mh dual digital for around 100$ its very well worth it in flowering. If moneys tight you can get by with as little as 4 42w cfls depending on size and and what kind of ventilation you have. Whats your budget?

Yes you can have too much lighting, even if temps are kept correct...ever seen light bleaching of plants or light burn?!

Secondly, you shouldn't even recommend a light if he hasn't told us the size of the area he plans to grow in and how much of that area will be used for canopy space and whatbthat area's fresh air intake temps will be so we can accurately suggest a proper wattage light(s) and ventilation/cooling system.

What size will your grow area be,what will tge amvient/fresh air intake temp be?

Need more info dude.

Well im startung with a one plant hydro sytem , as far as seeds go. Im trying to decide between midnight kush and berry ryder auto.. i have a floro mini. 150w HPS and a bulb for another 400w hps , Im trying to figure out really what lights to get ir if what I have is sufficient, what nutes to get , if germing is really a necessity and which seed would be the easier first grow ?

This guys talking one plant man yes I have seen light bleach but not from my 600 and one plant. I never suggested a light I gave a very limited range. Don't be so uptight I was just giving an example kn my personal experience I don't like think hes willing to go over a 600 for one plant. If its that big I say get at least a six hundred wat conversion or close the room in some . Make use of your light and with the six you can grow three to five plants and get closer to a pound wisdom bout having to veg a tree. It can easily be done by different methods but being a fist time grower I wouldnt suggest anything but keeping it alive till she x or harv st. Go day by day don't ever water or worry about nutes till they are past the seedling stage.
