Just some background - I had a HORRIBLE experience, three times, with Coco Coir damping my seedlings off so this is my first attempt at soil growing. So forgive my below ignorance, but this is still my ongoing "first grow attempt".
Here is a my seedling, a Nirvana Snow White in some Miracle Grow Seed Starter soil mixed with about 30% Pearlite.
Here is the deficiency:
The kicker is I just watered 2 days ago, about 2oz of water, and the leaves are still drooping... so I'm not able to correct it without watering again and risking damping off... See how the leaves are drooping?
This was fed day after noticing the discoloration about 1/8 tsp in 1/2 gallon water of the Alaska Fish Fertilizer 5-1-1 but I did not add Cal-Mag as I wanted to see if low-strength nutes fixed it. Obviously did not.
I am guessing 1 tsp / gallon is standard for this stuff, but that's if I half the nute recommendation on the back for "large indoor plants" since my plants are just seedlings.
2x 2700k CFL and 1x 6500k CFL over each plant, with a Blackstar 240UV in the tent too covering both plants.
Temps - 73f - 76f depending on RH
RH - It can bottom out at around 25% in my grow tent, but with a damp towel hanging in the grow tent it's about 55-60%.
12" fan blowing on them both on low setting.
Now to help dry out the soil and get rid of the over-watering, I took the towel out last night so the plant sat at 77 degrees F, 25% RH overnight but leaves still droop. How long is this going to take to go away so I can water again IF cal-mag is the issue?
I also have a Nirvana Aurora Indica that looks healthy, is not suffering from the same deficiency but has really stalled in it's growth. The first leaves aren't as big and the itty-bitty 2nd leaves coming in haven't grown much in a day or two, if at all.
The Aurora Indica was also fed the same nute solution but doesn't show any deficiency what so ever. I am hoping it's just rooting itself and isn't putting much into leaf growth right now.
Really scratching my head here...
