Have to say though it wasn't all bad. I never played so much scrabble in my life. And guys in there take checkers very seriously. I thought it was a childs game but shit I couldn't win for losing. 90% of all the white guys were in for heroine use. and most of the black guys were in for selling heroine. I ran into several people I knew and one was my next door neighbor when he was a kid. Small world. The worst part though was the condescension from the guards. The total lack of respect from same and the blatant abuse of inmates. I don't have a lot of love for law enforsement as a rule but prison guards are the scum of the earth. Guess for $14/hr you can really only hire the bottom of the barrel. Thoughts?
