My Dutch Passion feminized power plant just began flowering last week, but it doesn't look like normal buds to me. What is this?

Bummer. I only have 1 plant in my closet grow, so whats next? What do I clean my grow room with to make sure no pollens are left in there?

If this is your only grow you can grow it out and harvest the seed, pollen and oil, I was saying pull it only if you had FEM's in there still. it looks like either a herme or straight male, too early tell, and sometimes impossible to note the difference. one thing is for sure though females always carry male traits and males often carry some female traits... some male oil/trichs are supposed to be the most potent on earth, if you can deal with the seeds.

that is definetly a male plant, but every cloud has a silver lining, ok you got a male plant so you arnt going to be too happy but you now have the basics of water, nutes, light ect. get some feminized seeds, when they get to fourth node smoothly lst and when you are done it will all be worth it :-)

Male Plant.
If that is a good strain, you can collect the pollen to use for breeding in other grows.

As for cleaning the room, I'd give a quick wipedown of all the equipment with some diluted bleach water.
The pollen does not remain viable very long in the heat, and light. You should be good.

I sent Dutch Passion an email and this is their reply.

Me: I got some DP Power plant femenized seeds from you guys and im very disappointed since it came out male, it isnt even a hermie, its straight up male. Whats up with that?

DP: Thank you for your e-mail,

In order to help you, I would like to ask you for the order number of your seeds.
It’s very unfortunate that your plants appear to be male. Are you sure you purchased feminized seeds, and not regular seeds?

Would it be possible to send us a picture of the dutch passion seed pack, and a picture of the male plant.

Thanks a lot for your email. I'm sorry to hear that you are having trouble with our Power Plant.
Power Plant is normally one of our more stable strains, I'm really surprised by your story and pictures.

How many out of the 5 seeds you bought turned out male?

Me: I only grow one plant at a time and this is the first seed out of the pack of five.

DP: Ok, just let me know how the other ones turn out.

Me: So its ok to try and grow the remaining seeds? What are the percentages that the remaining seeds will be male?

DP: I don't know. I'm assuming this is a mistake or a freak of nature. That's why I want you to try.
