Odor control questions

Ok so i got a single plant entering flower and i am worried about the smell now everyone i have seen online says get a carbon filter now i happen to have on but i am not sure if this kind will work once i am 4-6 weeks into flowering. http://www.amazon.ca/Honeywell-38002-Activated-Carbon-Prefilter/dp/B000050H5N/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1394827669&sr=8-6&keywords=activated+carbon I have that on my air purifier and was curious if it would work to eliminate the odor also i was looking at possibly buying some activated carbon from wallmart (fish filter stuff) stuffing it in a screen and then placing the screen/material over the intake of a fan or 2 to also help eliminate odor. Any advice on this also before i hear go buy a 200-400$ set vortex/scrubber its not in the budget or i would love to also i hear they are loud as fuck. Any advice would be grate.

You can look into making a ona bucket. Some say they work the best. I plan on doing both a carbon and a bucket so my house doesn't smell like a dispensary. Some folk hate the smell of ona discribe it as smelling like a gas station restroom. doesn't really bother me though. You can find ona at most grow shops

It may do the work for one plant....may! Splash the cash on something guaranteed is my advice, justa few more £/€/$'s

k thx for the info yea i had heard of the ona bucket and had looked at them but none are sold nearby >.< i live in a small town so i tend to have to use some really basic shit to diy my stuff. Ill have to check out you purifier diy Sunny. Also not to be rude but the hole splash more cash at it is not a option as i said in fist post.

I check out the DIY and am looking at trying it out on mine though mine is a circle one with the air being pulled in from 360 degrees so abit worried on how it will work anyone ever just over the intake sade of a big ass industrial box fan with activated carbon? It seems that with more air flow it would remove more odor faster right? Or is the slower movement of air better in this case for the activated carbon? Also worth saying sound is also a big problem i hear the inline fans are louder then shit and i live in a apt with the land lord directly below me so its important that none of the smell or sound get trough the cement floor.

You can get a speed controller and make a sound dampening box if you're that worried. As long as you have negative air pressure you should be good. Ona will help when accessing room. I currently have my exhaust blowing in same room onto the Ona jar. Smells like fresh linen.
