Hey guys I have 3 Holy Grail Kush with signs of severe clawing and no trichomes hardly. Im sure it is because i over fertilized. They are at 10 weeks with hugh colas. I got a nice crop of nothing. I should just trash them right?

Trash them ? Could you get pix ?? Flat plants are rare and you can find one maybe two in 100 plants !! (and they have no COLAS)
What about the light ? Light Info plz

I have 1000 watt hps on them. I have 3 large plants with hugh heavy colas with hardly any trichomes. How fucking crazy. Im sure it is my fault. The leaves have been clawing since week 2 of flowering. I did back off the nutes quite a bit for the rest but obviously it effected the trichomes manufacturing. I was showing my wife. She cant believe it either. Hardly any trichomes fucking weird.

So now I am going to have to grow another round. fuck i wanted to take a break.

I've grown this plant and it claws and that's it. I'm actually growing a hybrid of it now that i made myself that also claws. Really nice smelling and tasting smoke though

Do you think Holy grail kush is nute sensitive? I am growing it right now and haven't dared pushing up the nutes yet

Well its too late now, but clawing is usually a sure sign of a ph issue. Not always though. Pictures would help.

If it doesnt look like its worth smoking, just make some edibles.

Clawing can also be a sign of nitrogen toxicity in early flower. I'm always careful of the amount of nit. I give my plants during flower.

Again I've grown it right beside other strains that don't claw. Yes it is nute sensitve bit also ph sensitive. In my case I think it is humidity sensitive cause my room stays at like 25 to 30 percent humidity but I'd rather have the claw instead of risking mold at higher humidity which I know quite a few people recommend

im in soil and I did keep the ph of the water higher around 7. I popped 3 more holy grail so this go around ill keep it at 6.5 and fertilize less. Never had any fert. burns though. just massive clawing. Im not sure its even worth making edible. there is hardly any trichomes.

What were the temps like in ur flower room? Did they get plenty of fresh co2 air?
Man, i started one pack. Not one had the claw. Everyone one of them looked bomb. One ended up very generic though. And 3 of them had balls.
IMO, if it was just a ph issue, you would have had very serious deficiencies. Did you?

about 75 when lights on and 72 when off. hardly any difference. im not sure if it matters. absolutely zero defficiencies.

pH seems like an issue, or it could be salt build up. If you know how osmosis works it's easier to understand. If the salt content becomes too high, its difficult for the plants to take up anything including water. If you over fertilized you probably threw the pH off as well. I assume nutes were synthetic?

I always go 3/4 strength and with many strains I don't know I feed until the very tips burn, then just water for 2 waterings, and back at it with 1/2 strength. Once you know your plant you will know it's threshold.

I have never grown the holy grail, but I would flush it with fresh water wait a few days and cut it. If you got nothing then Freeze it immediately and make some ice wax

im almost certain it was nitrogen toxicity. Because those 3 look like they were a waist of time i had to pop the other 3 holy grail. This go round I will put half the amount of fert I was using. Im certain it was all my doing because I over fertilize. I will know for sure in a few months. I will report back then.
