Well I purchased some seeds yesterday, and when I looked on my credit card statement...it says pending for 100.77$ .... I never ordered that many seeds. I bought two 5 packs which was a total for like 83$ US including shipping. Why did they charge me for 100.77?? Has this happened to anyone?


EDIT: PROBLEM IS FIXED. My own stupidity was the problem. Thanks everyone for the help!

What was the CC conversion charge? That perhaps is the difference. My CC company conversion surcharge is pretty steep.

What?!! there is a conversion charge?? There wasn't one with my debit card? But that was only for 20 dollars..maybe they only do it if you go over a certain number?

I did, the total bill was for 60 Euros..which is 83 US Dollars.

Then if herbies are asking for 83 dollars and your bank is taking 100 dollars, you need to go and ask your bank why they are taking more than is being requested. Sounds like a conversion charge might be about right.

Damn....That sucks. Guess im kind of glad I did this big order all at once lol I looked at bank of America and the conversion rate is x 1.756 or something close to that...

Well I didn't know. There was NO conversion charge last time I made a purchase with them. So I thought they overcharged me. It was simple mistake. Sorry.

Just out of curiosity, are you 100% sure that your invoice states 60 euros and not 60 pounds? I can't understand why an english company would invoice using euros. £60 would be about $100..

Holy shit...I think that's it... On the email it says £60.28. I thought the £ meant Euro lol That was a fail. I just looked and that's the reason. There was no conversion charge. I just messed up thinking the little £ meant Euro... My god, the pound is destroying the dollar.

Thanks,I'd never figured it out.I just ordered took a couple of singles off & added $30 to the card. I was going to wait until they got
here to figure out what went wrong,thanks.Thank you for saving me the time & blood pressure.


edit:I could not understand this & I wrote it. I had placed an order on 10th,I started with a card $140 (I figured that would get me the ones I wanted & the largest bonus from Herbies with enough left over to catch attitude's bonus.) That should bring you up to close where I'm at. Anyway it wasn't enough up top is what I did.thanks.

The weather is looking good,I'm going to clear my head out nice day for a ride.
