Will rain hurt my flowering plants

I live in the tropics and grow for medical reasons. I have 3 plants (my first ones), all females and they are in flower but about 2 weeks from harvest. I have been told that they must be kept dry during flowering by a friend, but am not sure and I cannot move them as they are not in pots.. Should they be covered to protect the flowers from the rain? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

BTW our rain showers are frog drowners...

They should be covered asap, if they're so close to harvest!

u do not necessarily need to cover them, i mean i would be ideal to cover when it rains but thats kinda unrealistic unless u literally sit there and watch the weather, but all you gotta do is go shake them real hard after a good rain to get the drops off ur flowers and u will be fine

This is it, and if it's raining and misting for days it doesn't hurt to give them a couple shakes a day. If it's windy the wind will do this for you. Mj grows naturally in areas that are frequented by monsoons. Of course a lot of the fans will be disgarded but that is when the plant goes into heavy bud production and starts to finish up.

Thank you both for your quick replies, I really appreciate your help. I live in a place where it is still illegal to grow, but the local police will not bust us if we have 5 plants or less. I do not grow to sell, but only grow for self medication for COPD (Severe Asthma) and Glaucoma. I had colon cancer and had it removed and have used Cannabis juice from the fresh plant leaves and flowers and presently do not have any signs of a relapse and my oncologist is completely satisfied with my progress. I explained to him that I was going to use Cannabis for preventive medicine, and he thought I was wasting my time, But when I treated the skin cancers he wanted to remove with Cannabis Oil and they disappeared he was really suprised. I think that he might be coming around, I gave him links to the various medical documents and lab reports and I think that his ideas about chemical treatments have been shaken. Only time will tell. BTW I am 76 years old and have been a cannabis user for over 50 years. I smoked cigarettes for 60 of those years and that is the reason for my asthma, but if I smoke or vaporise I get instant relief....

THC is not water soluble so your fine. Great weed is grown outdoors in rainy conditions all the time, just shake them off a bit like previously stated.
