I think people confuse cultural predilections with genetics; Limbaugh and the hate coming out of Fox sorta contributes to some "grass roots" frustration or even hate towards minorities, et... the right wing talking heads skip over 300yrs of oppression and jump right to current events as if 20yrs of equal laws would fix shit in 1-2 generations (but Gov programs/money won't either)
and sorta related, but long ago I once saw a statistic on news reporting of crime...the likelihood that picture of the perpetrator would be shown on the news was like double if he was black or Hispanic...put another way if he was white, it was more likely just the name would be mentioned and not the race or other personal descriptive detail....
so yeah, the media does contribute to minorities perception problem
but OTOH, statistics show the minorities themselves ain't helping their image either....

I can just cite UB earlier in this thread (reluctantly)...fact is 70% of blacks are born outside of marriage....this factoid has everything to do with cultural deficiencies and is self correcting, esp. if given enough social taboos and pressures
beyond that, you could list over a dozen statistics blacks and other minorities lag behind whites and Asians (to a large extent)....
...being honest with reality isn't necessarily racist or detrimental if placed in the right context and perspective

Check this out; I'm white, I grew up in the projects, but I decided not to stay and bettered myself, there is no race that I haven't buried my dick in at least once and I'm about to marry an Asian, yet, I'm labeled a racist.

You're not the judge on what is racist and what is not, and my citing was intentional whether you want to believe it or not. I know its hard for you to accept that someone got one over on you. I never defended any said group, I have defended ppl you claim are racist.
I encourage you to go live in the projects for 6 months. You think you have a problem with kids stealing plants and whatever, ha, you would be killed and your whole setup would be taken. If your wife is home when it happens she will be taken, raped, murdered then shoved in a trash can.

just because you demand I go run off and find statistics to satisfy some argument or need of yours when we all know something like this to be blatantly obvious is a waste of my time...
saying negatives or pointing facts out does not mean I'm racist or have some Fox media slanted agenda ....
what is racist or bigoted is skipping over the cause/effect that put blacks and minorities in their current position (and yeah unfortunately currently a lot of minority issues are self perpetuating)

the FBI didn't make any claims, they only compiled data.
colorofcrime made claims which you defended, even when they were shown to be completely false. you even listed those claims which were NOT made by the FBI, claims such as "the courts and law enforcement are not biased against minorities".
can you show me where the FBI made that claim, which you defended?
or how about "the best predictor of crime is the number of black and hispanic residents", can you show me where the FBI made that claim?

Funny how someone will stick up for people and their actions because of where they live, claiming it isn't their fault and yet I grew up in the same area doing the same things as black people with black people, but somehow it isn't the same. I guess its my white privilege.
