Hey guys,
I'm currently growing 2 Jamaican Pearl Sativas in a little closet room I have where I live. At first I wanted to grow more each time but since I'm unexperienced I've decided to experiment to get to know this strain and also be able to emphazise that it's for personal use if Mr. Po-po knocks on my door. The idea is to move them to another location in a couple of months.
So I tried to get 4 plants going at first and it went pretty well until I went out and had a little too much fun on the town, I didn't come home for 3 nights so my plants were more dried up than my grandma. After this happened I lost some confidence so I didn't take as many photos as I did in the beginning. So the photos will show the plants from 2 weeks after the seeds have sprouted.
Anyway, I rebuilt the "room" a little by making shelves. I started by making 3 of them but realized I needed more height, so I settled for 2 stations with 1 300w LED in each. The smaller space is for veg, I will tie down branches and turn it into a bush and scrog it once I put it in flowering mode (top shelf).
I try to get things going at first with the material I have around the house. Here's the net I intend to use as the screen. It's 90x65cm and has 70 even holes. My hopes are that I will be able to get one bud out of each but we'll see.
And here's my idea of the room at the moment. It's crazy bright when the lights are turned on. It fucks my color vision for a while after I've been in the room. My living room lightning looks all green for a minute or two after I've worked with these babies.
Here's the biggest one. I put the seed in soil one day before the other one. Her name is Jasmine. As you can see I've tied her down heavily but she didn't need more than a day of rest before she continued her growth. I noticed that she became MUCH bushier when I tied the top. The branch was really thick at the time so she didn't break but the branch looks really "strangled". Notice that the first and the second photo is only 3 days apart and it includes the chock time for the plant when I tied down the top.
Here's the smaller one. Her name is Grace. Also tied down to see if I could get better control of the height and width. I'm not an expert but they look really healthy. All I'm using is cheap regular soil and tap water. Now I've started to use some veg nutrition on them 1-2 times per week. I don't want to try and play god, they look like they're having a good life anyway. But I figure these babies likes to party so I give them a shot now and then.
If you have any ideas on how to make this grow better just hoolllaaaaaa! Peace
