im 5 weeks in and my RP Sour Diesel if just now starting to take off as far as bud production...THIS THING IS SLOOOOOOOW. I had to super crop a few branches because they were just way too tall, im talking over 5.5 feet tall I have run out of vertical space already I will NOT be growing this MONSTER of a plant anymore haha the only good thing about a plant this huge is that I know it will yield tremendously well!

Anyone care else care to comment on RP's Sour Diesel?
I just popped two beans along with other strains but I'm not sure if I will grow her out due to limited space...

I just finished growing OSD from Cali Connection. She stank for nearly all 15 weeks of growing. I've sampled a little bit last night when I burped the jars, while it's not fully cured yet by any means, I was high to the sky. Initially I felt a major injection of energy, which I then cleaned nearly the entire house (lol) and managed to have a great chat with my wife for about an hour about something completely random and unexpected, heh. One of the positives is that I had no munchies and pretty much didn't feel tired after. Good times ahead.

Yeah i would certainly want to know about the RP version instead. unless for some reason they are the same. which i hope not.

Ive came so close to getting this strain, lots of people ask for it and this is the only way to get it in seed.

amazing how Attitude runs out of RP's Sour Diesel stock but nobody's documenting the grow online...
anyway, I got 10 1.5 week old seedlings growing at the moment. 2 of them are RP's Sour Diesel and I must say they start fast and both look very similar up to this stage.

I'd love to see a more detailed grow on this strain as well. I've got a few going myself. 1 is still in veg being trained. Another is about a week into flower. I had a 3rd one until this morning when I discovered a few male flowers on it. I could see a few structures that may in fact have been calyxes, but there were no hairs present. So I'm not sure if it hermed or I somehow got a male seed in my mix, because they were supposed to be fem seeds. In any case, that one got chopped up so I'm down to two.

Hi neologic, can you describe the one that hermed on you? Did it veg faster, or did it look different?

Honestly greenops, it looked no different than the other two in veg. In fact, the one that hermed stayed neck and neck with another one as far as size in general until I flipped from 18/6 to 12/12. In that first week the hermie didn't grow much while the other one put on maybe 3 inches in height. I was disappointed, but the female is shaping up to be a very nice plant. She's tall and wide (without much leaf) and now a week into veg has calyxes all over. I'll be keeping a close eye on her to make sure no balls show up. If you would like to follow along I started a grow journal for the reserva privada sour diesels on this site yesterday.

thanks man.. i got two vegging right now as well but I will only choose one of them for flowering. Hope none of them is a tranny =). Nice I'll be checking your thread. good luck!

I got 6 RP plants going at the moment :: 3 Lohan (Trainwreck x LA Confidential) & 3 Real Sour (Sour Diesel x ChemDawg) Here are some pics of them at almost 9-10 weeks since I planted the seeds.

Advice would be awesome.

The 1st and the 3rd picture are of the same plant, just that plant in particular is the tallest growing, but very scraggly compared to my others that are all super dense. Worried may be a male/hermie. (1st time grower as well.)

Also how long did you veg for? These again are like 9 - 10 weeks since the seeds went in and are about 24 - 26 inches tall each. Thoughts?

They look pretty good. I veg established clones/seedlings for ~9 weeks and end up with bushes 2.5-3 feet tall including the bucket when they go into flower. You can veg faster but in my case I have to wait because it is a perpetual flip flop (1 veg room 2 flowering rooms).

Lohan and Real Sour sound awesome I wish I could get a hold of those!

I will look into if seeds can be sent man, paypal and such wouldn't be an issue, but want to make sure its legal to do it.

I made a huge beginner mistake of having one large tent and growing half indica and half sativa so my shit is gonna be off with lighting unless i splurge for another HPS. Decided that Friday I am going to flip them to flowering after 10 weeks, I have a thread on this site that will have all my updates and pics weekly through its growth. Heaps stoked that I was able to sex most of the plants last night and found pistols on all but one plant, but that plant isn't showing any pre flower signs yet.

I have a RP Sour Diesel that I have grown from seed and have cloned a few times with wild success. I have not yet flowered one, but plan on putting the mother plant into flower in 3 weeks or so. It has been really easy to grow. Seems to love the N. Have one clone in particular in a 5 gal bucket I turned into a water farm. Really seeing some thick branches on this plant and everyday she is putting on some height. I LST'd the mother rather extensively so she isn't all that tall, but she is a pretty nice bush :)

Hoping they flower out nice. The one in the water farm has like 5 weeks left in veg so she should be a beast. Peace.
