Week old sprouting..the two large leaves are wavy..any ideas why ??

Pic shows soil wet cause I just watered. I had left unattended for three days (out of town)... Where I live, it's cold all year round. heater running, temp stayed any where from 68 to 71 degrees. Haven't started giving any nutes yet, just PH'ed water. Drainage runs out normally' seems to be good. Running with four 23watt CFL's for now. Mostly Indica.

depends the temps are fine, just looks like too much water for a seedling if you ask me, but i wouldt worry too much some tend to be weird just let it grow for another week or so and itl be fine.

What up Redneck! I had similar wavy leaves during that phase but plants kept growing and producing. Despite what some say, Mary Jane is a quite resilient plant. They can take a wide range of abuse including temp fluctuations, over watering, under watering etc. with that being said, of course no one in their right mind growing would not want any of these things to happen, when and if they do it is something that should be shown immediate attention so the small problem doesn't turn into a huge problem.

On my very first grow prob 10 years ago, it was an outdoors grow and I watered regularly for the 1st month and then got tired of traveling to the plant (wayyyyyy back in the woods) so I kind of, well, abandoned them. I came back 2 months later to see what came of these abandoned plants (which were in 1/2gal pots (I had no idea what I was doing on my first grow lol) and 1 of the 3 was 3ft tall and had a fat nug on the top.

Now granted, this is not ideal but I wanted to share this story to show you how tough these plants can be. And to top it off, these were crappy bag seeds off some dirt weed Reggie. The better genetics you have, the better resiliency will be. Hope this helps my fellow redneck! Keep on man, you got this!!

Mr. Covert222, Dam, I think that may be the problem here because I have small portable space heater running when I know that the temps out here are going to drop crazy low. She happens to be right in line of its flow. Hell, if I had heat blowing on my face on and off for a few days, I'd be making crinkly faces too........Thank You Boss Man

Mr. Redneck, just sharing a little of my experience. And yes, now that you mention it, it does kinda sound like lyrics to a song ROFL Or I mean we could be like, hey man u tried this new shit?! It's called "Abandoned", you hit this shit and can't find yourself!!! hahaha

I doubt that the space heater is causing it. I have been growing for 15 years, and have experienced it from time to time. I have never run a space heater in my grow.

It could be genetics (mutated) or that the soil is just a touch "hot". It is nothing to be concerned about, and once she starts throwing 3 & 5 blade leaves, the problem will not be present.
