Thats funny ...Vn if i didnt know better I think you was close to guangzhou.....I have the same exact pot like yours in the middle
im guessin i know what your abbreviation means
Question since I usually have started in final pots.
In the small pots I still have 2 x Chernobyl & 2 x Dr Who, 1 x Border Sativa.
- Should I first top the plant for mainlining while still in small pots
OR
- Should I upcan to larger pot and then give it a bit to recover before topping?
I had 2 autos which I went ahead and put into final pots as I am just going to let them grow with no training or topping due to the fact that previous times going auto's I did top them and that just seemed to stunt them.
Continued with mainlining the local sat's today and gave all a good drink of water. The babies are finally starting to push upwards.
Still question out there whether I should start topping for mainlining first in smaller container or wait until they are in final container to do so which won't be long as I just want them to get established then I will move them. Any recommendations?
It depends on how well the strain will take to being topped, some take a while to recover so it might delay up potting longer than you might like if you choose to top and move later.
Thanks for the info. I will move them first and then top to get mainlining started. Since the starter pots are 90% coco there arent a lot of nutrients to support, though I think they would recover ok.
This morning I did some topping and moving plants over to final homes. Still have 3 in small pots, but will move them soon. I pulled 1 male this morning of the Chernobyl and looks like the Northern Lights Auto Blue could be either hermie or male. Random shots, but first 2 are Chernobyl male and 3rd is NL Auto Blue
Yanked the other 1 male today and put few more beans germinating (3 x Shiva Skunk Fem, 1 x G13 Auto Pineapple Express, & 1 x DNA Genetics Kosher Tangie). So far rest look to be fem's.
All the kids are praying today after a feed of fish emulsion. Smells like a mini fish factory on top deck, but thats ok; they do seem to like it. Everything is now in a mix of soil/coco
Beautiful garden! There's something serene about rooftop gardens, one day I'd like to live somewhere I can have one. The sativa locals you have going look great too, I love the variety of plants you have with the flowers and aloe. I'll stay tuned!
Quick update.Females look to be 2x Durban Poison, 1x Chernobyl, 1x Dr Who, and about 1/2 dozen area sativas. Also seedlings going are 1x G13 Auto Pineapple Express, 1x DNA Kosher Tangie, & 3 Sensi Shiva Skunk.
Notice I pulled any second plants together in same pot with the exception of the "donor plants" which have pepper plants or flowers there.
Everything in the garden is being fed fish hydroslate, aloe juice, & coconut water. They all seem to love that regimen. I haven't made any compost teas lately, but that is next on the list.
Local which have been mainlined for 16 Durban Poison so far topped 2 times bonded down
Border plant which is growing in a rootball Border plant being mainlined; topped 3 times so far & tied down
Dr Who which have been topped 1 so far Border topped 2 so far being mainlined
Durban Poison topped 3 so far mainlined Chernobyl topped 1 time so far and bound
Well not so much of a quick update, but anyway. I made a pan of brownies last week with about 50 grams of vaped up bud and hash. One does the job for a nice daily body stone. Happy days
Up to the patio for an update later this morning, but I was just reading through some threads here and I realize I am addicted to planting seeds. Ha ha. I was watching the latest Weed Nerd few days back and Sub says, "I heard of people collecting seeds like baseball cards. Why? Plant them!"
