i was visiting home in the suburbs and was walking my dog before i went back to school and came across this set of speakers, amp, and stand that was set outside for garbage day. i quickly snapped them shits up and drove home and hooked them up. They work and sound awesome. Each speaker is like 3' high.
one mans trash is another mans treasure. i need to take more walks on garbage day i think...

I work in some more upscale suberban areas, You would be surprised what stuff people will throw away.

This spring i picked out some taylor made golf clubs, They were older still in great condition.

Tv's, microwaves they buy new and just throw the (old working) stuff out.

Man must be nice to be rich!

That was my point, I work in upscale neighborhoods and people are always throwing out perfectly good items...I assume because they bought new and don't want the old and they just pitch it. to me thats just more money than brains why trash something thats still in perfect working condition! I grab stuff all the time and being there upscale people everything is top brand and usually still in perfect condition!

My girlfriend gets stuff like this all the time and phones me and tells me all about it. She even gloats about some stuff because to her it is better than getting a bargain at a store and thats like ...the best for her

Yeah, exactly. I know a guy who works as a builder in greenwich, conneticut. Round there people are so loaded that whenever they move away they leave their stuff and buy a new set of everything and the people that move in are loaded too. So they just chuck it all out and buy a new set of everything aswell. He can just take what he wants of it all, he has like new anything whenever he wants pretty much

pull the screens of those speakers- and i bet they look pretty sweet- i did that with a set i swooped and people always comment about how badass they look, and they used to look like old people speakers with ugly mess on em. They rattle and roll though for sure- yours look like the same type- great gift for sure.
