I use soil beds inside and out, and i am not a gram per watt type of dude anymore. If your goal is maxing out on grams per watt then hydro is for you. doesn't mean for one second that organic soil farmers aren't achieving close to the same thing. Some people dont care about gram per watt or container growing. No doubt coco is faster and you will get a bigger yield but are time and yield the most important thing? IMHO, no they are not. There is nothing wrong with this type of growing btw, and I was once a coco container grower myself.
no gram per watt cause it was a diy $300 light dep greenhouse.....but these were amended soil and water only. Harvested june of 2013. Lets see what you got..
Mr Nice...
This is the exact problem with RIU, people doing 300 dollar grows and acting like they know their asshole from a hole in the ground. The people posting the most, are growing the least. There used to be some good posters around here but they have all gone by the wayside. There was a time and a day when I had a 300 dollar grow room, and during that time I was spending my time asking questions from those who were more experienced than I to try and get better.
I don't know you tahoe, and you could be a great guy and a great grower, what I am saying is directed at general to these message boards. People are spending so much time posting
crap on here there is simply no way they could actually be doing all these sick grows they say they are. The people I know that are growing big time, just don't have the time to putz around on forums making new accounts every few months and posting rubbish all day long. There are many ways to cook an egg, I am not going to sit here and draw lines in the sand because you like scrambled and I like sunny side up or because one grower prefers coco.
I will give props to true dank when I see it, whether grown in clay pellets or in fully organic soil. There are many other things that are done by the grower, between day 1 and day 70 that can influence quality than simply the source of it's food. The plant doesn't have taste buds and certainly doesn't discriminate where it's food comes from... it grows leaves and fruits regardless.
Pretty much why I don't come around here anymore, what's the point if there's nothing to learn, no good posters / pictures and the same old arguments are going in circles 3 years later.
