It was all they had was CC beans and 3 TGA strains, and out of all of them the Tahoe OG sounded like it would be the best fit compared to the other options.

Tga is good stuff..not because they have the strongest though some are quite strong, but because what you see is what you get, they don't BS!

I know, I just got done running pennywise and jack skellington, was pleased with both and wish I would have put them in bigger pots for more branching so I could get a better yield.

couch as long as you have a diligent eye I am sure you will find at least one decent plant and maybe something special. Not doubting it is in the make-up somewhere.

I have a tahoe og x that I love love love and it came from gdp's ken "Igottitfromanindianshaman" estes. I really wanna make a strain and then give it some cool ass backstory.

What you guys fail to understand is that the marijuana seeds don't correlate with the breeder. Sad fact for some of you guys, Swerve does have REAL TAHOE, REAL LOUIE, REAL SFV.

Him hitting a backcrossed sfv male to a legit tahoe clone would be the same thing as any of you, or myself for that matter...

Is there potential hermie issues? Absolutly, if you guys are familiar with og, it was most likely bag seed from most likely a hermie plant. Are you guys familiar with any of the new og crosses? They are most likely s1 seeds of an og.

Anyone want to take time to work out the hermie trait? When you get it done, please let me know. I will be the first one to buy some packs.

If you choose to mess with og, and your breeding og x og I guarantee, you too will get hermies. But I guarantee there will be fire somewhere in the mix with great potential.

Swerve as a person is a totally different story.

If anyone wants to send me their packs of cali con gear, feel free, I will snap a pic of me enjoying it so you will at least get a smile out of it. lol

I fed some to my chickens, maybe they will crap them out for you.

If I want to grow OG, I'll go buy some clones of Louie/Triangle/Skywalker/etc.
When I grow beans, I want something that hasn't already been done.

It's OK if you enjoy the results, but I don't need to grow the crosses he has created.
My buddies didn't want the freebies, so the chickens loved them(along with some GHS)

I gotta respectfully disagree with you kgp. ceeds DO have a correlation to the breeder. Based on breeder practices, quality control and test runs. I can tell you the swerve has loads of complaints against his gear and I have run other OG and not had any issues with herms. The guy is a liar, wasn't he claiming to have the real deal GSC and it turned out to be a lie? I am glad you have had success but I personally haven't run into anyone who can honestly say his gear is worth the time and effort. I don't use any cc freebees, I don't re-gift them, I wouldn't want to give my friends any herms and ruin their grow. I toss mine in the garbage if I have the misfortune of getting them.

I don't know about the old "OG kush", but the orig. Tahoe OG clone doesn't have herm. problems.
I've never had any problem with hermi or disappointments from any OG cut I've run from my dispensary.

The buds I grow from my dispensaries clones end up just as good or better than the bud they have grown from the same plants.
Not many breeder's besides BigBuddha/CaliCon are using Tahoe OG, so it's worth trying if you don't have access to originals.

You're not understanding what I'm saying... The Tahoe was probably a hermie. Does that mean the cut will hermie? No. Does that mean it's off spring will be stable and hermie free? No.


Ive grown Cali con gear. I've got many, many shitty plants. The vast majority were. But I found a plant so dank it will shit on 99% of what people get from attitude and clones I've tried.

I know og. And I don't want your seeds so please keep your chicken shit, I was being sarcastic. Lol which I'm sure you were too. I have several top notch cuts, one being sfv. I've had yeti for a while. I have face off og so yes I know what dank is. I've grown white fire, tons of og crosses. Honest to god, my seed grown Cali con Tahoe pheno shits on them all. Maybe I got lucky?

honestly I think I have some type of problem. Since I grew this plant several years ago, I've been on a mission to find another. Driving hundreds of miles, meeting peeps, networking, buying thousands of dollars in seeds.

All i want is 2 or 3 and never pop a bean again. I've got face off, smells and tastes like og with lemon and over powering fuel. I've got sfv which is pinesol. I've got charity that is straight up pine tar.

popping bodhis golden triangle, larry lotus, and ggg aspirare. Looking for one more og to pick from. Then I hope to narrow it down to 2, grow these to perfection for the next couple years. I'm giving up the search and final thinking of settling down with the 2 nicest ladies.

you have always struck me as someone who is a true headstash grower and the og being your strain of choice I figure you have a lot of 1st hand experience with many of these x's and cuts.

well to say the least on the cali menues if you realy want to see if it suck let me see whats on the menues on weedmaps that should indicate whats realy hot pull a bunch of menues up in so cal and nor cal and see what averages out on what sells the highest that is your real indicator.. dont trust the public or me just look on the menues that will tell you whats good
