Cut a hole in the ceiling, attach a duct flange. In the attic attach another duct flange and run ducting to the attic vent.

2) Ducting with a clamp connects the fan to the hood.Use bungee chords to secure the fan.

The item you are looking for is called a "spigot plate".

As for where to get them from??

Would you like one of us to drop you some off?

Come off it man we don't even know what country you live in.

Try AMAZON, EBAY, HVAC SUPPLIES etc.

Go to lowes and by furnace filters look for a start collar. Cheap, effective. You will find clamps and flex duct there also.

What is this? A freaking baby sitting service? If you don't even know what you need, where to get it, or how to install it then stop everything because all you are going to do is murder innocent little plants.

In Colorado, we commonly refer to this personality type as a customer or patient but never a grower, caregiver or provider.

so you need 2 duct flange, one to go outside attic and the other one to go inside of the attic ? then you just put the ducting on the air cooled hood going to the attic?what is a clamp connect and how do i secure the fan with bungee chords?

you don't even need duct flanges...just run a flex duct through the ceiling. It'll be about the same to patch when you are done either way and sooo much simpler. also make sure you find a stud or truss to mount your fan to. Or suspend with bungees if you want.
